:rover: :rover: :rover: Only a fan of Blackburn Rovers my friend through thick and thin, and if someone has had a hand in getting rid of Kean well then they deserve some credit, not constant ridicule, for your information I am from planet Darwen if you must know, and you don't have to be eloquent to reply to Opinions such as yours, because thats what this message board is all about opinions, you have yours and I have mine, you think Shebby is not the right person, i tend to think he is going the right way, only my opinion. :brfc:

You didn't offer an opinion in the post I was referring to, which is why I replied in the manner I did. Your opinion is welcome on the site and is as a valid as mine and everyone else's.

I hope you're right about Singh, but he's got a long way to go in my book after his 'performance' at King Georges Hall and his so called interviews on Talksh1te and Radio Lancashire.

https://twitter.com/MarkF1875 Venkys London Limited 2day received a notice that the company wil b dissolved in 3 month of todays date unless cause is shown t the contrary

This was an official letter of notice from the registrar of companies uk, under the companies act of 2006, section 1000.

Me speaking now - It's Venkys London who own the club. If this is true I assume the implications for the club would be pretty bad.

Probably because the accounts are overdue - they should have been submitted 13 July 2012 per Companies House. They may of course have applied for the Company to be struck off and this is simply confirmation, especially if funds are all held in India now.

Billy Davies doesn't stand a chance, I have faith in Shebby to bring in someone we won't be disheartened with. However that doesn't mean the new man will be a success.

There is just one consideration in the favour of Billy Davies..............He played for Dunfermline. So what you all ask?

1) Alex Ferguson played for Dunfermline.

2) Dave Moyes played for Dunfermline.

3) Owen Coyle played for Dunfermline.

All those have proved fairly successful.

Yeah the guy said no finances had been dealt with for the past few months. Is it the case then that Venkys London don't technically own Blackburn Rovers then?

Just wondered if there were implications for the club if it was to be dissolved or whether Rovers could simply be owned by another part of the Venkys' empire.

I was away on business when he did the KGH meeting like most weeks but always get back for the games unless its mid week, although I have read most of the messages on here regarding the KGH meeting so i don't disagree entirely with your comments just some, like i say my only interest is the club, if he helps then great. Need to get Agnew and Shaw out next as well.

Lets see what happens over the 2week shutdown, it will be interesting to say the least, if we end up with Black then its back to square one, so then your opinion would be correct, and i don't mean that derogatory, maybe just maybe we are turning the corner, a long bend mind you.

What a jackass. If there is a job available, that you want, you hand in a CV, you don't wait for the company to approach you.

Just shows the sheer arrogance of the man, I wouldn't want him within 100 miles of Ewood and would rather have Black as manager than him.

Just a passing comment, spoke with Alan Curbishley an hour ago...asked him outright if he's consider the rovers job...basically, he'd take the job if he's offered..

I a little bit, accidentally told him he'd be loved by the fans if he came.....:D he would be though right? I'd be very happy if he was offered the gig

Interesting.

He won't be glamorous enough for some fans but would be a good appointment IMO.

Serious question, I wonder if the Rao family are aware that the position of manager is the most important at a football club?

I'd be happy with him as manager. If he applied!

Until we got beat or ground out a 0-0 drab game. :(

I'd have him before an inexperienced manager anyday!

That explains why he's been out of work so long. He needs to apply for a job now and again, not sit by the phone waiting for it to ring.

I agree would be an excellent appointment it just makes you wonder though who some fans expect to get I get the impression some fans expect Balaji to flash some bling and for the special one/Guardiola to join us at the end of the day given where we are out of all those linked Curbs would represent a safe pair of hands and would be happy with him and he he would represent a long term choice as I believe if he joins we would go up automatically in either of the top 2 positions and then maintain our rightful place at the top table for however many years.
