I really don't understand why certain people feel the need to "give us a heads up" that there's a Rovers story in tomorrow's papers? Is it for the adulation they will receive for knowing some info before it went public? Why not just let everyone read about it when it comes out? If its genuinely big it's not like anyone is going to miss it.

Add in the statement that it might not break at all and it makes all this even more bizarre. If I didn't know better I'd say some are just desperate for the attention that al of this brings them.

I don't think it's an ego thing at all, but it's unfathomable that they don't expect some negativity in response to essentially saying: "I know more than you, and it's BIG AND IMPORTANT."

There are other ways to suggest fans keep an eye on the press without invoking inevitable hysteria.

If it's anything to do with Kean, JA or any other tosser associated with either of them, or Shebby bleating on with his bloody autograph hunt, I couldn't care less.

If it's The Raos apologising for the chaos they have wreaked upon The Club and accepting that it's not just a manager we need but a complete cleansing from top to bottom with financial backing to match, then I would be interested.

The fans of this club have gone through so much cr*p in the last 2 years... people hinting at "big story's" etc about the club gets people worried. People don't want teaser's in a situation like this.
