I was pleasantly surprised to see how much it meant to him when Rhodes scored. Don't know whether anybody saw whilst Rhodes was going mental but Richards was on the floor praying. Whether that's purely because it saved his blushes or the club means something to him I don't know.

Well it was a great reception for DM today when he departed, and rightly so, you could tell he appreciated it too.

Yep - I think after tuesday night & today, its like he's finally been 'accepted' into the club and now we can move forward. Think he will only get better and better from now on.

He was mis-utilised previously in my opinion - the new set up suits him much better and today he quite rightly got a good reception when going off. Today we saw the Murphy we thought we'd signed so well done to him and to Berg.

Yea I was really pleased he got that standing ovation. People are debating whether to build the team around Rochina or Rhodes.....we should build it around Murphy....today he finally (from what I've seen) displayed the passing range he has in locker......quality player, regardless of age.

Was light years better yesterday. Actually ran around and when he picked the ball up he moved forward with purpose.

The reason for his improvement in part was real tactics, Etuhu say deep and Murphy was along to get forward more his clipped through balls were much much more effective from that range
