Jock Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Looks like the North Wales carehomes scandal just wont go away. The Secret Services must love having all this dirt on our leaders. Wasnt Huddersfields ground known as the Paedo Dome?

Jimmy SaVILE said in an interview he 'knew a million bad people'.

You've left out.... the Scout Leaders the teachers the uncles the older nephews the politicians the brothers.... more abuse was done by relatives than any outsiders
broadsword Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Well I hope there's none involved in the police investigation. Can't be too hard to find out all known associates of Mr Savile. Savile might not have laid at the centre of the web, but I bet he knew all the main sickos in this country. I hope they're sleeping a little less comfortably now. These people are mentally ill and they should be locked up and never let out. And while we're at it, who believed that Pete Townshend was "researching" kiddie porn, anyone buy that excuse?
Backroom Mike E Posted November 3, 2012 Backroom Posted November 3, 2012 Really? Each to his own I suppose but expect no thanks from me will you for spreading AIDS to normal people. 'Spreading aids to normal people'.....are you for real? What an ignorant bellend you are.
Stuart Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Only two? Theno I think you're going to need a bigger boat.
thenodrog Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 'Spreading aids to normal people'.....are you for real? What an ignorant bellend you are. They do say ignorance is bliss mike..... and I'd rather keep my bellend in blissfull ignorance and stay on the right bus thanks.
Jock Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I heard that Jimmy Somerville has been attacked by a group of dyslexics.
Backroom Mike E Posted November 4, 2012 Backroom Posted November 4, 2012 They do say ignorance is bliss mike..... and I'd rather keep my bellend in blissfull ignorance and stay on the right bus thanks. You argue that homosexual and/or bisexual people are not 'normal', though. I don't understand that view in this day and age. HIV (the virus, AIDS is the final symptom of the HIV virus) is nowadays spread more by 'straight' philandering males via many women, or drug addicts. Ignorance is not bliss and never has been. It is ignorance. In the case of homophobia or racism, it's malice.
SouthAussieRover Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Don, you've obviously stayed in the Cross or Oxford St when you've been in Sydney. Remember, this is one of the worlds great cities. Check out the beaches (there's something like 20 or so). Full of nubile young ladies, (not that they'd look at an old fart like me these days). Additionally, Sydney has done well by me with a 40 fold increase in real estate prices since I bought here. That's all well and good Dave However, what was the letdown at the end of the 60s??
BuckyRover Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Death threats for Tom Watson? http://www.tom-watson.co.uk/
dave birch Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 can't say exactly what it was.... The music had lost an edge (in my mind) the country was ambling? I needed an adventure (most probably) and I found one. I love this country, I love it's openess, it's youthfullness. I have no wish to return to England, this is my home, my place..... I'll die here..... Apologies, that was a reply to SAR's post #111
Stuart Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Well I think you know you're on to a loser when Peter Sutcliffe gives you a character reference! http://news.sky.com/story/1007965/jimmy-savile-was-yorkshire-ripper-suspect
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I'm still waiting for the kean to hit the fan re my late, lamented M.P. I'll give you another clue - a larger than life "liberal ". He was exposed by my local version of " private eye " years ago, threatened to sue them, then had to withdraw his threat of action and pay their costs, allegedly. After that funnily enough it all went very quiet.
Stuart Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I'm still waiting for the kean to hit the fan re my late, lamented M.P. I'll give you another clue - a larger than life "liberal ". He was exposed by my local version of " private eye " years ago, threatened to sue them, then had to withdraw his threat of action and pay their costs, allegedly. After that funnily enough it all went very quiet. Interestingly, according to his wiki page he appeared on a TV show of Saville's. But why do such publications allow themselves to be silenced? Isn't there a duty to the victims? Could there have been an alternative settlement to just their costs? It does cause one to believe there are/were cover ups.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Private Eye later picked up on the story but like lots of these incidents it's a nationally known celebrities word against the word of nobodies. It was common knowledge at the time in his constituency that something funny was going on at a local care home. Maybe it'll come out in the light of the recent furore.
thenodrog Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I'm sure I'll get accused of generalising by the less observant and those of less cynical disposition but there must be a clue in the fact that he was a politician a liberal and lived with his Mother.
philipl Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Times have changed. One of the most respected teachers at a certain Grammar School I went to in the '60s explained it was best not to get a caning because the Headmaster got "carried away" whilst doing it. We all knew what he really meant....
adopted scouser Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I'm sure I'll get accused of generalising by the less observant and those of less cynical disposition but there must be a clue in the fact that he was a politician a liberal and lived with his Mother. Dirty fat kean, these people are everywhere
koi Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Well his nickname was "Spanker" amongst the MP's of the time, had a nice earner with the asbestos manufacturers too I seem to recall.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I see it made the Northern news on BBC tonight. Our current MP is raising the case in Parliament.
thenodrog Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Dave Lee Travis arrested for questioning now! It appears to me that there is a connection forming.......... all of them thought they were funny when actually none of them were at all funny in the slightest.

So hopefully we can expect an early morning knock on Lenny Henry's door soon.
