Billy Mckinley was at Fulham in 2004 and was signed to the reserve squad by Chris Coleman.

I am not joining any more dots than that but if he is appointed you might like to join them for yourselves!!

I hope it is just speculation but i don't like this... If he is appointed i would have to ask the question. 'Who has made this decision, and why'?

I am interested to know why he has suddenly become a firm candidate in the eyes of the betting world-who is pushing for him/why has he suddenly appeared with such good odds?

The press conference would be hilarious if McKinlay gets it as Shebby would claim with a straight face he's been our number 1 target.

No smoke without fire but please God NO!

Well all of a sudden Mick McCarthy is looking like the stuff dreams are made of.

Wonder what our odds will be to drop another division with our new Kean in charge?

Agreed, please NOT Mckinlay ffs what a joke of an appointment if true. I am beginning to believe that Kean is still running this club but from behind the scenes. Mckinlay will not get my support it has to be Holloway. Might as well put Shebby or leave Black in charge if all we can aim for is a no mark coach. I had doubts about Sherwood suitability but Keans mate Mckinlay is a complete joke

Kean wants to bring in close pal, and former Rovers player, Billy McKinlay as his assistant after ex-Arsenal midfielder Jensen’s nine-month stay ended this week

Taken from this http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Martin-O-Neill-is-linked-with-Blackburn-as-an-experienced-assistant-to-Steve-Kean-article806190.html#.UIXeaywjsN4.twitter

If this happens then i think this proves who is running the club

The FA might want to investigate betting patterns in Asia. It all seems very odd.
