  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Shebby arrived and suddenly a lack of bull coming from keans mouth.. A points target set and not met and he resigns, and he didn't after we got relegated. Coincidence? Don't believe in them. He needs to hire someone decent for me to get backing so holding fire until then.

Not at all, Derek Shaw is the only man to have ever run a football club. Don't understand why so many people are happy to wait around whilst he dithers and effectively cuts our chances of promotion?

Buy running a club I presume you mean things like fitting out the club shop and then charging the club rent on it , taking massive loans to overpay players and then persuade all their supporters to sell their shares (which had become virtually worthless) to the person who made the loans , yeah lets put it all in the hands of Derek and his mate Agnew

As opposed to Singh, yes please. Seeing as your such a fan of Singh, please can you tell me why so many of his followers are happy to see him continue messing around on this appointment whilst the club suffers as a result?

The Shaw wanting Holloway thing is most likely a biggie for him mainly because he's a blatant Knobender and getting him away from Blackpool and possibly starting a demise for them would make him a hero in PNE land :(

Didn't say I was a fan of Singh just trying to balance your Shaw love in which has been going on for the last week or so

Not a Shaw love in at all, hugely critical of him as a matter of fact for many reasons but he's the only one that has ever run a football club before. I'm not political at all either, aside from knowing that Singh wants to groom his own man so he has a large amount of authority at the club. I don't want that to happen, I want the new man to be able to run the team as he sees fit.

Yes - I find Earl's apparent attempts to discredit Shebby are almost entirely to put Shaw in a good light- why, only Earl knows.

As far as Shebby is concerned - if the fan he spoke to on Saturday is telling the truth (and there is no reason at the moment to doubt him) - d-day will come on Wednesday.

Fair enough but it seems supporters are being played recently Singh is the bad guy Shaw is the knight in shining armour etc. I think there are people within the club that have ulterior motives for getting rid of Singh. Perhaps people forget the Rhodes episode this has been done before.

If it was just about a manager - the best for the job, we'd probably have him by now.

Too many egos to apease causing the delay (IMO).

Yeah, I would agree with that. There are knives out on all sides. None of them are working together effectively for the benefit of the club which is the worry. All I care about is that the new man will be able to manage as others have been able to in the past. It's the only way that we can achieve promotion this season.

At the very least kean, would still be here had it not been for Shebby. I'm reserving judgement until I see who the manager is.

Imy thats rubbish pal, if the rat hadn't resigned he'd still be in charge today, I have no doubt about that.

Agreed after setting the target of points and Kean failing to get them Shebby said he was not thinking of sacking him.

Interesting thing with the points total - did anyone (Shebby or owners) actually say that ? I know it was widely speculated - but dont recollect any direct qoutes - the only thing I remember was Shebby saying Kean couldn't lose three matches in a row.

Can't argue with that, but perhaps be allowed to manage as others have prior to December 2010 ;0 , just a small point regarding Shaw because he's the only one to run a club in the past, I might be mistaken but John Willams was not involved in running a club before coming to Rovers, and he didn't do a bad job. But I do understand what you are getting at regarding Shebby and a possible future role

I don't see how anyone can possibly say Singh played no part in Kean's departure. The bloke may well be a class A clown, but he effectively stopped Kean pulling the wool over the owners eyes and perhaps some cheap Portuguese signings might just have been the tipping point. Do i trust him to appoint a competent manager? Well, thats another point entirely.

Got a bad feeling they are going to get Karl Robinson.

Not sure if he's got the clout to sort things out down at Ewood, fitness issues and the like. Whoever gets this job hasn't just got to be tactically aware. Got lots to sort out that has fallen by the wayside under Kean's reign.

IF the manager in by Wednesday is the case I think we could be in for a nasty surprise.

I would expect nothing less. I'm afraid Venky's have well and truly pi$$ed this opportunity away. For a little, tiny, wee while there was an opportunity to ride the crest of a fleeting wave. That wave has long since passed and i already feel sorry for whoever comes in.
