  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Got a bad feeling they are going to get Karl Robinson.

Not sure if he's got the clout to sort things out down at Ewood, fitness issues and the like. Whoever gets this job hasn't just got to be tactically aware. Got lots to sort out that has fallen by the wayside under Kean's reign.

Rather Robinson than Shearer or McKinlay

Didn't do to bad at Reading but didn't he retire from Management because he lost interest or something like that?

correct.

Left Bristol City due to lost interest in being a manager and the day to day running of a club.

It might be a good move to bring Coppell in as Director of football with a younger manager working under him.

Yes - I find Earl's apparent attempts to discredit Shebby are almost entirely to put Shaw in a good light- why, only Earl knows.

As far as Shebby is concerned - if the fan he spoke to on Saturday is telling the truth (and there is no reason at the moment to doubt him) - d-day will come on Wednesday.

I assure you DMTP that I have no allegiance with anybody. OK, I have been favourable in postings towards Shaw recently as he wanted to appoint Holloway. If you look at all of my previous postings, I haven't actually said anything about Shaw apart from the fact that he's trying to get a decent manager manager in and it's been completely blocked. I also said he's the only man that's ever previously run a football club which is a fact.

Everything i post is done through my wish to see the club run in the best way possible and to be honest, they're all responsible for the mess that the club currently finds itself in.

Now that would be very interesting. A proper football man who is still capable of managing but has no wish to. Guiding a decent coach in the finer arts of football managment. Sadly the presence of Singh makes that impossible. Shame.

Just WTF is this tit doing confiding in a fan?? The bloke is a barmpot.Does he think its cool because Roy Hodgson got in the news for doing similar on the Tube train?

A number of none Rovers sources are telling me that Shearer will be new manager and will be in place before Wednesday.

Would be a surprise but not beyond the realms of possibility.

So IF it is Shearer how would people feel?

depends who his back room team is

Delighted, if not slightly cautious.

The best forward we've ever had, hungry and out to prove a point in management.

He'd be a good 'figurehead' but would need excellent backroom staff with him.

No matter what, I'll get behind them whatever, after the shambles we've endured.
