  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Glen Mullan

Our aim on day one is the same aim today a well run club. For those who think we have been hoodwinked by Singh, That is so far from the truth. We opened up dialogue with the club because it was needed to rid the place of Kean. Only Singh had the sway of the owners to make that happen. We backed him to get the deed done and the club is now Kean free. However thats were our backing ends. We told Singh and have told him until we are blue in the face that if he screws this up I qoute " You best pick your protest colours! We aint his friend, we aint in his corner , we are and always will be in the corner of the group and their feelings. Some top top managers have applied for this job, to date he has ignored these advances. He was emailed last night and told again under no circumstances will the

supporters who we represent, stand for a cheap option, a puppet option and yes man option or an inexperienced experiment. He was also told if he wants to protest to return all he needs to do is ignore the supporters. We have been in this together from the start, we dont agree with tea n biscuit meetings, we say it as it is, and hold nothing back. This fight has and will always be about the badge, the club and the supporters. We will issue a press release tonight and make it quite clear in the media, that this fight for our club is far from over and we will not as supporters lie down and have our bellies tickeled

Fair.

Lets get the facts straight. McKinlay ISN'T the manager yet.

Its obvious that its a four horse race between

Sherwood, Shearer, Holloway and McKinlay.

I know who I'd want, but if its one of the others I'm not going to 'never return to Ewood' or 'Throw my season ticket on the pitch' or 'Start supporting Hertha Berlin'.

Any manager HAS to be judged on results and results alone.

If one of those four comes in, gets the team playing well and gets us promoted, I honestly won't care if hes a Shebbyite, a Agnew pick or even a mate of Kean.

Football is all about RESULTS!

Very trite.

Of course, I'd wish him every success and hope above everything else that Rovers are promoted and drag themselves back to the Premiership.

The point is, with every absurd decision and seemingly deceitful comment, quote or action that comes from the club, the less I feel that Blackburn Rovers is my club. I don't, of course, mean to have all to myself. I mean the club that represents me. My heritage, my area, my beliefs, my family. We have all loved Blackburn Rovers because of these things. That's why I fell in love with Blackburn Rovers, anyway.

With each reckless step that the present administration take towards trouble for BRFC, I fall further out of love. I don't want to grow to resent the Rovers, but I can't put myself through the torment anymore.

And in the Second Tier after recent relegation - spooky eh? On the plus side bet it's even cheaper to get on now & you can drink beer & eat sausages with impunity on the standing terraces

I can't lie, meadows, my stomach will often overrule both my head and heart.

Some people said I was talking rubbish and said let's judge Shebby when he tries to get somebody. Well, it happened and he was after a puppet after all. Feel free to disagree though.

McKinley is no puppet.. he is very much in the Kean brand a self centered fool like Hendry, Shaw, Agnew, Ninja dan and of course Kean himself.

In regards to Hendry.. I spent so so many years of my childhood going to the courts because my mum worked there.. there is one thing that is very clear if they take someone to a jail cell because of a domestic situation then they have according to their own rules, they feel that one of the family are in danger.

What on earth are you on about? Shaw isn't anybody's puppet. I agree about Agnew though but I think you're misinformed. Yes, Agnew helped him get a job and although he was behind Kean, but now he's just trying to appoint a decent manager.

Shaw cares about Shaw.. seen it before with him(At PNE) and if he fails to get a manager who will back him he is OUT (with his mate Agnew) now kean has gone.. so he will stick with his mate Agnew and get someone to come in and be his backing, if anyone put McKinleys name forward it is not going to be Singh.

Just look at the fricken candidates that have been put forward.. Schuster who to quote Shebby is one of his favourite managers, Keane also one of his favourites, Sherwood a Shebby choice.. against Grayson who worked with Shaw, McKinley who is Kean camp and Holloway who does not have the backing of Shebby for whatever reason (that may or may not be down to a certain Agnew/Shaw).

Why the hell is there so much anti Shebby stuff, except for being a bit of a Boris the guy is not a fool and has said what SO SO many of us has said (to paraphrase he said training ground has been a social camp, kean was an idiot and Peds had lost his touch.. ).... and anyone who says he had nothing to do with Kean leaving why the hell did he leave then apparently had Mrs Ds backing, every board member in the UK and is a know it all fool who has killed our club.... the only one to speak out was shebby (and to quote Kean his position was untenable).

If we end up hiring McKinley this will be direct from the Shaw/Agnew camp, Shebby wont last a month and we will be back to the Kean days and in serious financially crap for it.

Can you at the very least tell me WHY the anti shebby stuff..? You should of read my posts by now I am no shebby fan but he is the only one at the frackin club who I feel wants something more than keeping his job.

I knew it. I just knew it. To borrow Earl's words, I told you guys so! :D And no, I'm not pro-Shebby Singh or his fan, it's what I concluded from reading Andrew Cryer, Glen Mullan and a whole lot of other people's twitter accounts, blogs, speculation ad whatever on the Internet. LONG LIVE THE INTERNET!

This whole manager search (if you can call it that) is absolutely staggering! I actually cannot put into words my feelings and thoughts on the situation.

Amateurs (Shearer/Sherwood/Mckinlay) in the managerial world are being looked at and yet steady and experienced MANAGERS (McCarthy/Holloway) are being over looked.

This whole thing is a farce, it is just so stupid that we are even going down this route after Kean. It stinks something rotten! All every fan wants is some stability but they can't even see that, makes me so angry!

The more I think about it, if McKinley is our next manager, I will actually be done with Rovers. Been looking to follow a German side since I arrived over here and Hertha Berlin tickets are as low as €10, max. €25, I think.

They play in blue and white, at least.

They're also god awful so it'll be like home from home. Although they do know home to create an atmosphere and their post match riots are a wonder to behold....(was at a 6 pointer v Nuremberg a few years back, lets say they weren't pleased!)

Yeah, I've certainly read about the atmosphere, although, for the sake of safety, I might stay out of "Die Ostkurve" for the first few matches. I've never done very well in a riot.

Should be fun on Wednesday if McKinley is in charge.

Though he is a long way from my preferred choice - I'll still support him (at least at first).

I think goodwill towards the Venky's would be in even shorter supply than usual. Shebby - if I were him I would keep a low profile for a very long time if McKinley is appointed.

Not according to our owners. Wasn't the reason that Desai got rid of Sam was because she thought football was more than just the result. Hence they appoint Kean and now we are scratching around after the likes of McKinlay as a mid-table, going nowhere, Championship club while Sam guides West Ham to the top seven in the Premier League.
