  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Recommended Posts

not possible to get through to them? wow a multi million pound business and they cant even afford a keaning phone, lying keaning halfwits

He means getting official permission to speak to them presumably.

Any initial exploratory contact would be done via their agents.

Of course McKinley will join, he probably can't believe his luck.

I guess playing devil’s advocate, he's no worse an option than Sherwood or Shearer really in terms of experience, but still we need a manager not a novice.

Why the hell have we not tapped these people up? amatures the lot of them, TV pundits don't know how to play the game, sad really.

Shebby said the list of applicants or interested parties was surprising. Had McKinley applied? If not why ignore the the high calibre interested parties?

Shebby just playing us along.

I've posted in another thread, he's more dangerous than Kean & JA. I'm convinced of that.

Correct -and I said a month or so ago, that he'll eventually become as hated as Kean and the Raos.

They have accepted that McKinley can talk to rovers. The proviso is that they sort compo out first.

Also, for people wondering how McKinleys name has come to the ears of Shebby Singh - well he could well have been one of the people who applied for the job.

Paxman mode on:

What's your view on Mckinlay?

Couple that with the fact that Fulham have agreed to allow rovers to talk to McKinlay and it looks highly likely. I guess that there's always the chance McKinley could turn us down after talking to the Raos, but most clubs would know that their man wanted to join before approaching his club.

I thought Fulham had turned us down - is this a recent development ?

You're not asking me Rev, but its hard to get past his blatent faking of injury in his final days as a player, surely that tells you all you need to know about the man.

Why all the talk on the calibre of applicants though?

And why has it taken us nearly a month to come to the conclusion that McKinlay is the best man for the job. To be fair I have not asked around on him yet but, naturally, the fact he is a close friend of Kean worries me.

I don't have any opinion of his managerial capabilities because he hasn't any managerial record to go off, so that makes this a big gamble - which should explain my views on him being approached.

If it is McKinlay , then I am convinced they wanted to give the job to Black .....But due to poor performances that is impossible now ..

If Alex Ferguson was to accept the job , we would still be on a sticky wicket ..The players in my opinion are just not good enough .

Glen Mullan tweeting that thankfully there is a rethink going on, but still has no confidence in the current regime.

It's equally worrying that this info is coming out to Glen so quickly though

I just hope it hasn't come from Shebby, he just needs to stick to the task at hand

According to the London Newspapers, they've turned down our approach until compensation can be agreed. In other words - agree a fee with us and he's yours.

Sorry to labour the point but as would be exactly the same case with any other potential manager in employment elsewhere.

They've turned us down. Let's hope we don't want to pay the amount they're after.

Where as this (SEM) link come from,

I read his agent is Paul McTaggart.

http://www.violafc.com/the-management/

I'm probably guilty of listening to random twitter clap-trap but I thought he of the bum chin had form...?

Pete Stock@pedebumchin

So we had Kean (SEM) and approached Billy McKinley (SEM). What are the chances of Owen Coyle (SEM) being approaches next. #Conspiracytheory

But even if you scratch that part from my post, it's still odd.

And down the road they are looking to appoint a manager.

Meanwhile back at the hatchery Shebby Director of Football looks to appoint a stooge.

He's another no mark tw@t, self gratifying with no regard to our historic club.

I for one will never go back if we appoint a no-mark like McKinlay, keep Black, or equally bugger up this golden opportunity to try to and put it right (ie - get us a manager to MANAGE without SS, the brothers Grimm, and that person who has been to one football match in her life, interkeaningfering)!!!

All things considered, Coyle would actually be a step up from what we are being linked with.

cant beleive they have taken 4 weeks to find the 'right manager' and this is the best they can do, just proves it was bullshit about all these so called big names in for the job, more wool being pulled over the eyes of the fans. As far as supporters are concerned any faith, trust or belief the supporters had for singh will be gone if this appointment goes ahead.

You sound surprised .Everything Venky is full of kean and not to be trusted.
