Why are you getting so struck up over this? If this gets so you wound up, as it appears to, just don't follow him on Twitter.

I'm not getting wound up, far from it actually. However, Glen seems to be annoyed at people saying things to him over twitter as he shares what he hears. If that's the case then just create a new account as 'Rovers ITK' or whatever he wants, so he won't be prone to abuse.

My twitter account is my personal account , not a news feed . There is a very simple solution to this , use the unfollow button!!!

I use my twitter just like facebook for status updates , it's not for all things football in fact most of my tweets are friend and family related . Instead of stalking me , and looking for attention yourself , perhaps you should get out more .

Constant nit picking and a chance to have a go at someone else is beginning to get far too common on here.

Whilst people's obsessions with others is getting rather tiredsome .

No constant nit-picking, just calling a spade a spade.

You're letting your desire to be seen as an important person adversely affect our football club. Your unnecessary meetings with our idiotic management are a complete embarrassment.

Been talking to people close to Sherwood. He'll only consider Rovers if he talks to owners direct and gets reassurances. He won't accept these reassurances from Shebby, Agnew or Shaw.

At this stage Sherwood is a long way from done, therefore they are going to want to interview others from the shortlist, which could take time as some are already in jobs (Freedman, Robinson etc).

Senior source in Pune reckons that OGS is not serious about joining Rovers, if Rovers felt that he was serious then they would peruse it.

No, it bloody well doesn't, and that's the point! What was your motivation for tweeting that you'd been on the phone for a long time? Because it, and quite a few of your other "updates", come across as attention seeking garbage.

Tend to agree.

I have no opinion on Glen one way or the other. He doesn't speak for me or represent my opinion nor do I ask him to. However if he feels strongly enough about something and wants to take a certain course of action and can get enough like minded people to be of the same mind, fair play to him, it's a free country.

However what's the point in tweeting he's been on the phone for ten hours on a Rovers related matter?. Are we supposed to deduce from that he now has the ear of the owners, or that his opinion of new manager now carries particular weight, or that he is now effectivelyrunning the Club?

If anyone asked me my opinion of new manager, not that it would have any more importance than anyone else's, it would take 10 mins tops.

Our friends in Pune seem to like talking to managers' wives, if Margaret is anything to go by. Suggest they call Silje Solskjaer who might put them straight.

Which will arrive first - Christmas or a new manager ! Could be a close run thing at this rate.

I don't understand at all why we would look at Sherwood ahead of Solskjaer.

If their careers after playing were the same but Sherwood had played for United and Solskjaer for Rovers, would Sherwood even merit a second glance?.

Still ABB.

One more point - do you honestly believe you have 3,500 close personal friends? You know exactly why the majority of them follow you, and I've no doubt you're clever enough to realise the effect cryptic tweets like the one in question are going to have.

For the avoidance of doubt - I and I believe many others fully respect your actions of the past when Kean was in place. However that situation has changed and so should your standpoint. Regular meetings with Shebby Singh are not in the best interests of the football club.

Thats for the membership of the action group to decide, and not for mere mortals like ourselves. Can we keep this to the "next manager" topic please.

Perfectly reasonable stance from Sherwood: if I were in his shoes I'd want to talk to the owners too. If the owners are not prepared to talk to him he is right to walk away.

If Robinson's a front runner I'd be pretty happy with that.

If I had a shortlist of 4 it'd read Di Canio, Solskjaer, Holloway, Robinson.

Friedman's a bit left field. Sort of get the impression he's a Palace legend who wouldn't be particularly comfortable outside of Selhurst Park or South London.

ABB.

Freedman seems excellent so far but you could be right - he's long term Palace and obviously has some status there which may not transfer to another club.

McCarthy is the obvious, stand out candidate. Would get us promoted and that's all that matters.

Do you know why it's taken so long before they've even started speaking to people Kamy? Seems bizarre that they are now going through the same actions which you would go through immediately before drawing up a shortlist, rather then the other way around?

Would you know whether Singh is aware that some fans are beginning to get pretty fed up with what is now becoming a farce?

Thanks for the info btw.

Not to sure about that. Been flagging on here since Kean went that I think he's the real dark horse, and not without reason - strong support for him at Ewood !

As usual they're going about it the wrong way.

If Venky's want Sherwood they should oblige and talk to him asap rather than fudging the issue.

I still think managers who are in post at other clubs will only talk if they believe the job is theirs, as they are compromising existing employment.

Not been on here since the Wolves game.

Is there anywhere doing odds on next Rovers manager? Had a quick look on Betfair and couldn't find it.
