Wouldn't say no, just the kind of fiery character to weed wake up some of the lazy uninterested players we have.

Until they hand in a transfer request.....Di Canio is too much of a livewire. He'd probably be sacked within a week anyway after telling our owners to go f##k themselves.

To the people thinking that Holloway defensively is poor. What's he supposed to do when he's got a defense made up of League 1 players? He has no option but to attack with Blackpool because he has to go for a win wherever he goes.

They're still disorganised defensively though....I know it's harder to organise a worse standard of player but they just seem reckless. They conceded the same amount of goals in the prem as we did last season.....that's a shocking statistic even with League 1 standard players....which Norwich also had.

Think olly could be the man

Have my doubts about Holloway - he has found his niche at Blackpool - how well he would do at another club is debateable - be that Rovers or anybody. Spoken to a number of Blackpool fans who feel the same - even though they think very highly of him they doubt whether he could necessarily reproduce at another club.

another 43 pages and still nothing.

If things don't start happening fast at ewood this week i can see the unrest rising back fast and now that Keans gone i'm morbidly curious as to where the anger would be focused at the next home game if there is still no sign of a new manager.

And most of those who renewed their season tickets after Kean's departure will be asking for their money back - they must see that surely. Even they cannot be daft or naive enough to think they can get away with appointing Black after telling us that we've had a very high calibre of applicant for the job.

I have a huge feeling it will be Singh running the team in a few weeks - and I don't mean he will be the new manager. Think back to Black's comments after Forest away. Didn't he say something along the lines of that the team needed players from the bench on the pitch, but he didn't bring them on? If so, why not?

Let's face it, Singh is after someone from the lower leagues who will just be grateful to have a job and will therefore accept his meddling in team affairs. I stand by this statement and I hope to be shot down when a manager is appointed.

Shebby Singh is just as bad for BRFC as Kean was. It is a like-for-like replacement. Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing.

Are we going to see Agnew & Shaw in training kit down at Brockhall? Mrs D in a shell suit?

A new manager will not be put off by the fans, the stature of the club, the squad, the need to be promoted. They will be put off by the dicks running our club.

If you were in a room with Shebby / Agnew / Shaw / Mrs D & the chuckle brothers - who would you draw inspiration from?

Also please stop singing "Shebby is our King"

It's Keaning cringeworthy & his ego is already Keaning our club.

Keaning stop it!!!

I posted this yesterday and got a bad reaction from Reemslaw.

Just wondering does it offend anyone else?

Reemslaw not responding .

Shebbys a former footballer(all be it at a much lower level) so i can kind of understand his enthusiasm for wanting to be out on the training grounds and he prob just feels more comfortable in training kits, Agnew and Shaw are just a couple of pen pushers, but saying Shebby that he would have to take a step back if a real manager comes in.

i'm sure he'd love to be manager, but i cant see it happening(cant imagine hes even got the relevant qualifications/certificates).

Why on earth would we want to banish the name of someone who history will record as easily being one of our better managers?

People only big him up so much because certain other people have a ridiculously harsh assessment of his time with us.

+1

I agree with your points but I wouldn't necessarily express it that way. My first thoughts of Singh were 'Thank God' and they were quickly reinforced as he managed to push Kean out of the club.

However, this managerial search has led me to completely lose faith in him. The process has been nowhere quick enough for me amongst other things, where the hell is the urgency!!!! We need to be promoted this season Mr. Singh, pull your finger out!!

I must say, he really has put himself in the firing line by saying big name managers wanted the job. If he doesn't deliver a decent name, there will be a huge outcry of anger as I would imagine most fans are at least a little worried that he's been after the 'puppetmaster' role all along.

I want to be proved wrong, you have no idea how much, but sadly, I doubt I will be.

It's a version of the "when we win promotion, this is what we'll sing."

It's silly that some will sing for Shebby.

I really want the guy to make me eat my words, but I think he's an egotistical prick.

There is a lot of rewriting of the past on here. He patently made his position untenable so that he had to resign.

Everyone was under the assumption that Kean would never leave and was untouchable however a few months after Shebby arrived he's gone.

That doesn't mean he will make a good decision regarding a new manager but there is no need to belittle what has gone on already.

Like I said previously, I was at first very pleased with him. I thought it was a new dawn for the club. However, this new manager debacle has brought about many, many concerns with his potion at the club and what his exact role will be when a new manager is appointed.

Personally, Kean has now been removed and that was obviously his first objective. However, now that he has left, his role needs to change. If he wants an administerial role, than great. If he wants to be involved in first team affairs, as looks the case, then he needs to quickly move aside.

The whole search for a manager so far has been completely centred around his own ego and i'm personally tired of it already after nearly two years of Steve Kean. I know Singh has his friends at BRAG and, to be honest, the group does a good job in terms of it's main focus which is trying to reforge links between the community and club. However, Singh needs to remember that there is a massive fan base out there, unattached to BRAG, that is fed-up of being told to be patient while the club remains rudderless and without any direction.
