In not surprised, blackburn end is like a morgue.

Surely if the blackburn end was SO quiet then it would be easier to hear said chants from the Darwen End?

Singh is an oddity. All I want as a fan is for the board to go quietly about their business, appoint a good new manager and shut the f... up. That's all I bloody want. Enough of this drama and Shebby making an arse of himself.

Wouldnt it be heaven for our owners and board to just keep their traps shut and be good at their jobs? ah to dream

one thing you really can't have a go about the owners for is not keeping their mouths shut, they haven't as far as i'm aware made any kind of statement since kean left!!!(i agree with your sentiment though).

I am never surprised with how many times this lot shoot themselves in the foot.

After finally getting rid of the clown we have last week received another season ticket offer which ends on the 19th October.

Do they really think that fans are so stupid that this would tempt them to renew before the new manager is appointed.

I dont know if this was Shebbys, Agnews or Shaws idea, but I would have appointed a new manager as soon as possible and then put out a renewal offer to get the fans back in Ewood.

It was clear from the meeting at King Georges that Kean was on borrowed time so why was a short list not in place?

I was at Blakeys and I'm sure Shebby said that they did have somebody in place ready to take over from Kean. I spoke to a couple of friends after this and the consensus was that Danny Murphy would be the man to take over with Shebby implying there was a succession plan..

I agree about fans waiting to see who is appointed before buying a season ticket. I spoke to somebody today who is doing exactly that.

Unless Danny Murphy has taken the pro-license and coaching badges in secret, I don't see how it is possible for him to take over.

This morning's LT reports that Rovers a mulling over making an official approach for Holloway as it looks increasingly unlikely that they will land Shebby's preferred choice Tim Sherwood.

Not got the paper yet but read this interview with Holloway in today's Gazette.Doesn't sound like he's going anywhere soon

There is a lot of rewriting of the past on here. He patently made his position untenable so that he had to resign.

Everyone was under the assumption that Kean would never leave and was untouchable however a few months after Shebby arrived he's gone.

That doesn't mean he will make a good decision regarding a new manager but there is no need to belittle what has gone on already.

Did he sack him ? Yes or no for history's sake

Dear Shebby,

You made my dreams come true when you forced Steve Kean to resign from his position. I will always be grateful. But please, one last thing, complete the mission and get Holloway. I'll be forever in your debt.

Regards

Josh

I would be over the moon if we got Ian Holloway but I just can't see it happening. Karl Oyston is the Daniel Levy of the championship there is no chance he will let him leave and I can't see Holloway forcing a move either.

How much would it take to get him here ? I would imagine Oyston would demand millions.

Whoever becomes the new manager, there are no gaurantees, be it Keith Hill, Sherwood, Holloway or even Redknapp but, the longer this goes on, the more difficult the job becomes.

Personally, I would be looking to Spain for a manager, coaching over in Spain is light years ahead of the UK and their ethic of playing football and pressing the ball quickly when not in possession and strong organisation at the back!
