I think that the Holloway info is another smokescreen to try and draw out time until Saturday, where a positive result may well see our resident bullshitter Shebby Singh announce that Eric Black is the man for the job.

It's embarrassing that both Bolton & Burnley are well on with their replacement whilst it took us well over a week to draw up a short list. God help us, when we have buffoons making decisions and gullible supporters swallowing the spin.

It looks like there is absolutely no desire to get a new manager in at this moment in time.

I wouldn't rule out OGS just yet !

He seems to me to be the only really interesting candidate who is reported to have expressed an interest in the job. Unless the likes of Flitcroft or guys who were ok about 20 - 30 years ago float your boat.

That alone should have given him a huge head start imo.

Holloway slagged the V's off to high heaven about the running of our club, would be surprised if he came here.

I have a feeling we are going to be running into a lot of brick walls.....

Well the majority of the media hates our fans, the fans hate the owners, the owners hate KFC, Shebby is our version of Comical Ali who has made no big friends by being so open in his meetings, and brew it all together and you've got one disgusting Rovers stew.

The only thing we may have is money for transfers and if we don't then I can't see us getting any serious manager in.

In terms of Holloway he did slag our owners off, but Shebby slagged Kean off saying Rovers should sack him on the football show he used to be on.....he changed his tune.

Danny Murphy called us a disgrace to football and thugs.....he's now our captain!

Seen as there is sh!t all news i will share a dream i had last night, i was outside ewood and a batman style projection appeared in the sky...Lars Bohinen was the man in the sky and appointed new rovers manager, i walked toward the club shop and met Gary Flitcroft walking away roaring crying before i was finally met by Morten Gamst Pedersen who proceeded to slate Steve Kean for the mess he made...going to the bookies now to see if they will give me odds on those exact events!! ;)

Think we might see one or two twists and turns yet given the unpredictability of our owners / managers.

I wouldn't rule out OGS just yet !

I also think we will see some twist's and turns.

I wouldn't rule out OGS yet either. I think he will come. It's all about timing.

And I think the timing is somewhere between 29. oct to 4.nov.

Can we afford to wait so long? That's the question.

Derby away

Sheffield W home

Watford home

Crystal Palace away

That's the matches until 3.nov.

If you read the articles you will see that they havn't put together a shortlist. But hey let's selectively believe bullshit in newspapers just so we can criticize our own club... Who needs dingles when we can do the job ourselves?

Can I ask, why all of a sudden everyone is getting on Shebby's back???

Only a month or so ago everyone was praising him because he spoke out against Kean and the (at the time) under performing MGP......but now because Kean has gone and MGP has started to play better, people are getting on his back.

A lot of what he says makes sense, installing a new manager is a very stringent task, very much so in our case as we cannot afford to get this wrong.

A good summary of this whole sorry situation...OH! for the memory's of when this club was run with pride and dignity.

I'm not too fussed about the time it's taking to be honest.

I'd rather they were taking their time and hopefully getting it right than rushing into another Kean decision.

Also, anyone taking any notice of what this Nixon joker in the Mirror/Sun/Sport is saying, more fool them.

Going off the links people post on here, he's 100% backing a completely different man each week.

If you throw enough Kean at the wall, eventually some of it has to stick.

Actually, I'd love to throw Kean at a wall...

Is that because of the end of the Norwegian season, Boltinho?

I think you are being harsh on old Nicko.

He still has very good contacts in the game and I still think he's the best of the ITK's !

Glen Mullan said only yesterday on Twitter that in his opinion, chances of Holloway happening zero and then, the papers are full of it !

Make your mind-up and take your choice but I would dismiss Nicko at your peril !

Do people honestly believe our people have just been sat around doing nothing?? Whilst Bolton & Burnley have been busy meeting people?

Funny!

Efficiency, time management, nous, decisiveness, team ethic, could go on further ! - our lot don't tick those boxes for me !

Good point well made. I've just checked - they finish on 4th November. That must be the delay. No way in the world is Holloway going to turn his back on that visual spectacular.

And then it's the Bonfire Night festivities and then David Essex is appearing at the Winter Gardens. This could run and run.

End of the Norwegian season is November 18th. Perhaps OGS would take it if we waited but I don't think we can afford to wait for 4-5 matches.

There are ways around that one, OGS could do his planning, start getting the team playing his way and maybe even sort out the odd loan deal, its happened at other clubs before, but dont discount someone from within the club getting the job!!

The LT article says that Holloway would need to force a move for anything to happen. He did that at Plymouth and it ended in tears and he vowed never to do that again.

So..

Will Blackpool let him go ? No chance. I would say we would have to blow them away with compensation for this to happen.

Would he force a move ? Again I would say no chance.

Would he work under Shebby and Venkys ? He might but I don't think he would force a move from Blackpool to work for them !

He is a top manager but I can't help feeling this is a complete and utter waste of time.

Apart from Shaw who has experience of appointing a manager previously?

Agnew shouldn't even be on the board and Shebby probably doesn't know how to go about it either.

interesting to note just who Derek Shaw appointed as PNE manager during his time as Chairman , when Moyes left he appointed Craig Brown , then Billy Davies , Paul Simpson , Alan Irvine and Darren Ferguson

It will be easier to get Holloway than most people think. Although Oyston is a tough cookie to crack, there is a way around this.

We just need to get our a**es in gear.
