  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

The optimism generated by Kean's exit is ebbing away by the day. I suppose that we all shouldn't really be surprised, though.

These people are so out of there league it hurts. I just wonder when they will get bored of their toy and give it to someone who (possibly) knows what they are doing.

Probably the most sensible post of the last few days - + 1,000

I think that the current malaise can be traced back to the 7-1 humiliation at manyoo. The Chuckle Brothers had mates over from India and were left embarrassed and infuriated. They sacked Allardyce in a fit of pique without knowing who they were going to replace him with. They didn't know what they were doing then, hence Kean and they don't know what they are doing know, hence the faffing about.

I reckon Eric Black will get the job until the end of the season.

Freedman now evens and favourite for Bolton job.

Reckon that that will happen now - he's come from nowhere.

Looks like another one missed.

If it comes off, then you picked it out of nowhere.

For the wrong Club!

Might not mean anything though. Sherwoods been 1/4 for ages and I can't see him taking our job.

I thought it was times like this that groups like BRAG come into their own. Instead they seem to be tucked away nicely in Shebbys pocket whilst he sabotages our hunt for a new manager.

Absolutely.

IMO, relationship too cosy and unhealthy. Some find a whiff of power too intoxicating.

John Williams wouldn't have allowed it and football matters were not up for discussion.

I think Freedman is also on our list too !

Unfortunately, indecision seems final.

They might as well put all the names in the hat and draw one out !

That would be difficult for them as they'd have to wait a week then have a meeting to make tentative plans about where the hat comes from and who makes the draw.

Interesting that none of those close to Shebby seem to know where he was last friday with Shaw ;-)

Rumour has it that they were locked-up in a local hotel meeting a candidate and it went on into the evening. Before you ask, don't know who they were meeting.

If Shebby is reading this message board, please wind your neck in and make that appointment, you complete tool. Your ego is threatening to de-rail the hard work being put in by people who care more about this club than their ego.

Latest Odds:-

Sherwood 11/10

Holloway 11/2

Shearer 7/1

Solksjaer 7/1

McCarthy 10/1

I'd ignore the betting market, it's so hard to second guess Venky's, they've done u-turns on decisions before.

There's no rationale for Holloway to leave Blackpool where he seems to get on with the owners and fans, where he is being successful with a chance to get into the top flight. Why would he give that up to come to a club in turmoil who are doing worse than his current team? Madness.

I believe solksjaer when he says no. if he said no to Villa, why on earth say yes to us, that makes no sense.

Shearer has stated that things would have to change for him to take it. Chance of his getting assurances that this will happen = 100%, chance of these assurances being borne out by subsequent events = Kean all. Surely he realises he would be on a hiding to nothing at Rovers, he walked out on Newcastle and danced with cardiff without taking his pants off. He's got to be a 100/1 shot rather than 7's.

Sherwood I think would've happened by now. They reportedly wanted him at the outset, but I think he's got more sense than to work under these crazy chicken keaners, given he has a tidy job right now. If he wants to go to a former club he could wait for Hughton to get the heave.

McCarthy - is he desperate enough?

Wonder what the odds on Black are?

I just get the feeling their masterplan lies in ruins and now every one of them with a say in this process is coming up with a different name. For that reason I think they'll just wear each other out, never getting anywhere and we'll end up with Black as they finally concede defeat on trying to agree on a manager and actually get him in.

I think another thing you have to look at is the finances. Apparently the match day income doesn't cover the wages of the new signings. I know we signed Rhodes but I think that was a last throw of the dice by Balaji, a one-off financing by mortgaging his land or whatever. The actually income stream coming into the club from corporate Venky's I'm guessing is minimal, they don't want to throw good money after bad. That would explain why Kean was kept on. In that case, instead of players being signed in January, perhaps the manager will have key players sold behind his back. Perhaps this info is also on the football grapevine already and further taints the job so that no-one wants it.

pure speculation on my part of course and there's no way of knowing for sure.

We just need to narrow down who would want to be locked inside a local Premier Inn with Shebby and Derek. Sounds like something Mick McCarthy would do.

The reason we don't have a manager is because Shebby SIngh is a complete tit and those who love him should quickly re-evalutate their affection for him and maybe pull themselves out of his behind.

Shebby is after a puppet, good names have been and will go due to this simple fact. Not just winding people up either. Whilst I appreciate the good work of BRAG over recent months, they need to distance themselves from Shebby Singh immediately. This man is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I cannot stress this enough.

A win on Saturday could actually be a bad thing. It's that bad.

So the problem is Shebby now not the owners?
