  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

At least one Rovers' player will be hoping Freedman doesn't get the job ! Goodwillie on way back and reportedly 'couldn't settle' but, seemingly, Palace not impressed.

Is the squad the new manager will inherit not the worst one we have had for over 20 years ?

Still reckon he'll bag more than Rhodes this season?

Worryingly both seem of a similar mould but Rhodes seems slightly more assured but neither play the role we seem to aspire to

AWFUL

You have to wonder why these guys want Judan Ali -

dr_awol, braddock, Kingstonians, Gally, Black Burn, JohnGo

I suspect some of them are trolling/doing it as a joke.

However you have to wonder why eighty people, including yourself. want Alan Shearer.

As much as I'd tear my hair out to see Judan Ali appointed, objectively speaking he's no less qualified than Shearer is for the job.

No it doesn't, I voted for everyone apart from Coyle and Black.

I've been saying for pretty much a year that I would take almost anyone other than Kean, a couple of weeks after he's gone I haven't changed my mind.

If the question is who I would be more happy with, then obviously my answer would be different

FAR MORE qualified tbh.

Judan Ali has as much right to be there as Shearer,Sherwood.. so if I'm wiling to one I have to accept the other.

i will give fair support to who ever get the job, it not about accepting !!! not accepting means going through another Kean out process.

In reality the poll is a bit redundant

What does 'accept' really mean? I'll be mightily Keaned off if the likes of Black or Ali are appointed but I feel we have no choice but to back whoever is appointed at least for a while

Exactly, you could have put another 20 names there and chances are I would have voted for them all, doesn't mean that some aren't far more preferable than others

No he doesnt

Correct- does he hell. If you were giving me Judan Ali or Sherwood /Shearer as an option best suited to grabbing the club by the throat and lifting fans and Town then its no contest.

Are you trying to say that someone who doesn't know where Blackburn is would be better than 2 guys who shared in the best times in our entire history and understand what we are?? Do me a favour.

You are going purely off the fact that he might have more coaching badges-well bloody Coco had them and couldn't manage Langho Juniors

I wouldn't say it's redundant, it's asking who we'd be happy with.

I know for each of those candidates I can comfortably say a "yes" or a "no". Certainly whoever comes in shouldn't be subjected to chants demanding their removal from day one, but also I think the fans will naturally take more fondly to a manager they would have been happy to see manager than someone who they didn't really want.

Of course but to not accept someone to me means that you aren't willing to give them a chance really

Who would I truly be happy with myself? Not too sure right now but it can't be a token appointment in order to move the Shebster into a footballing role. Someone with a backbone is a must.

Maybe Holloway is the man we need?

I don't thing anyone where is qualified enough to know if judan is a yes/no man.

But IF he got the job I would accept it.. what is the alternative to giving support ?protests before he's through the door?

I have my preferred choice, but would accept judan.

out of the experienced championship and lower division managers(holloway, McCarthy, Coyle), i think i'd like Keith Hill as he seems to be on the up as a manager whereas the others have prob all peaked and shown that they are never going to be more than good championship level managers.

p.s. not important i suppose but i've just noticed that David Flitcroft(brother of Gary) has been Keith Hills assistant at both rochdale and barnsley.

p.p.s! he reminds of a younger Allardyce(but with more of a attractive footbaling style), no nonsense northerer-
