"Merde, I was well off my manor!!"

Anyway, back on topic and some posts have been removed for referring to dusty bin, danny dyer and Southampton. Apologies.

No post should ever be removed for talking about Southampton. Ridiculed? Yes! But removed? Never!!

Anyway, Grayson. Yeah whatever. He'll do.

Not sure if this is from tonight or not. But its a little bit of Cryer talking a little bit of Sherwood.

Sherwood is a pretty sharp cookie and I think he's 'playing us'.

We just need to move on.

Despair grows with each passing day, as does the dawning realisation that the club is now highly likely, IMO, to get this all horribly wrong.

Anyone else wonder whether Sherwood's agent is stringing Rovers along to get him the promotion he wants at Spuds ?

I wouldn't bet against it. If only because we're run by clueless egotistical clowns who refuse to seek advise that's right under their noses on how to run the club properly in order to fuel some ridiculous glory trip to the detriment to the club.

Anyway, Grayson. Yeah whatever. He'll do.

Yep. If only because at this rate the other guys who allegedly expressed an interest will have lost it or simply forgotten that they had actually expressed it.

But hey! I'm being harsh. No need to rush, just ensure we get the right man at the end. Excuse me if I have nothing to base my good faith on though.

Absolutely. Still think Sherwood will be a decent manager as well, just think he wants DoF which is still up for grabs. Rovers job gives him a bargaining chip with Levy. Move on Shebby, we're being used.

If Holloway is interested, someone said he is and his compo is cheap then why the hell aren't we moving for him?

Absolutely hated by Shebby Singh who will not entertain the idea at all. Derek Shaw idea, lukewarm but decent response from family. Shot down in flames by Shebby SIngh. It won't happen even though it was as close as it can get to happening.

Don't put any money on.

I think that as an operating organisation, we have, sadly and hopelessly, lost our way.

IMO, too many factions in BRFC now.

Only a complete new regime change, including owners, can change our destiny.

Absolutely spot on. The irony is after all this talk of the new manager, it will still be the same current regime holding it up. Been told favourable appointment is wanted by Venky's to turn it around with fans but I know Shebby Singh won't allow for this as he's after a puppet.

Singh isn't the owner so the family should have the final say

Somebody on twitter talking about Sherwood deal collapsing as he wanted to speak to owners but was blocked from talking to them. Also blocked Mick McCarthy. I've heard similar reliable story that Shebby Singh blocked Ian Holloway deal which isn't exactly a secret now.

What is Shebby Singh up to cockblocking all these decent applicants?

No one would dispute that.

However, as owners and custodians, they are, IMO, utterly appalling.

Like many, when Kean went, I thought it heralded a new beginning, a new chapter in Rovers' history.

Unfortunately, the only thing that appears to have changed is that Kean has gone.

IMO, we still have eccentric and crass management.

Difficult to see the day when I will be 'investing' season tickets' (plural) money and other into Rovers again.

It's a secret to me! Unless somebody at the club has told you these things how do you know they're true?

Can't see this being true. Where's this block talk coming from? Club, journos or agents?

Exactly. He knows he wouldn't be able to control Holloway. That's why he wants someone inexperienced.

I think Mr Singh will end up just as hated as Kean was (and still is).

Somebody at the club told me they're true. In case you're wondering though I am not an ITK. I don't get much information at all but the info I do get is always well known around club and it's always been reliable in the past. No doubt about holloway at all in this instance. He aint coming, unless Shebby Singh has a personality change of course.

Maybe Singh is a bit smarter than Kean and gets the fans' groups onside by a little whisper here and a little whisper there. A whiff of power can be intoxicating to some !

Got told that Holloway was liked by Balaji. Not sure why Shebby wouldn't like him but if its come from inside the club it's probably true as Shebby doesn't keep his feelings to himself. The groundsman probably knows more than the local journos.

Club and agent working on behalf of players at Blackpool. Reliable stuff, we shall see though. Like I said in a previous post, I don't hear much, certainly not much significant and I don't claim to know much either. The one thing I do know about this whole process is that it is rotten to the core, Shebby wants authority and a puppet he can control.

Only quotes in media that appear to back this up are from Black when after the defeat to Wolves at home, he bizarrely stated that he had players on the bench that he said he desperately needed on the pitch but didn't bring on. Very odd thing to say and gives the info credibility.

Right that's me finished for the night. Early start tomorrow with a meeting in........you'd never guess......but Blackpool !

My pal always ensures that we have a 5* working breakfast, however, will be more interested in the football gossip !

As far as I can see the only person claiming that Shebby Singh has put the scuppers on Holloway joining is you.

Which in my view is rather unlikely given that the general consensus elsewhere seems to be that we have yet to even make any official approach for the Blackpool manager.

Meanwhile if someone else on Twitter claims that the family have refused to talk to Sherwood AND McCarthy, then cripes it must be true. I've never heard of such a reliable source.

Sherwood would only accept subject to meeting with the owners for reassurances. Singh didn't organise this meeting. Despite his daily contact with the owners and their continued presence in Switzerland.

Holloway is a credible, respected candidate supported by the club and half of Venkys. Singh knifed him to the owners.

McCarthy was overlooked by Singh for not fitting the right profile (whatever that is).

OGS was interested and did apply, yet Singh says he isn't serious about wanting it?

Shearer was a popular choice and certainly a contender, he then asks for reassurances and is subsequently discarded by Singh.

Other credible candidates like Schuster, Daum and Sven have been overlooked by Singh.

Anyone who asks for assurances and autonomy is overlooked.

We discard all of the above but pursue targets like Robinson, Grayson, Davis and Ali. All the while the spectre of Eric Black looms large.

We aren't looking for a manager, we are looking for a puppet. Fact.
