Funnily enough I was just thinking the same, almost the same situation as somebody working for the club whispering to people to leave Kean alone and direct towards Venky's, wonder what the common link is? Who would feel threatened that their activities have been kept in check and his "power" undermined by the arrival and role of Shebby

Fair enough. At the end of the day everybody chooses to believe what they wish. About any info that i've provided though, it's all neutral. I have no political siding with anybody at the club and the info I have is from numerous people very well connected. Will be an interesting game Saturday not least because the squad shares the same concerns as i've brought up, allegedly.

I hope the info I have is totally wrong and we don't end up with Hill, Flitcroft, Ali or any of the other puppets.

Totally agree, in fact they are probably just holding out him to win a game before announcing him as the manager. Most likely their plan all along.

Holloway was not just Shaw's choice. Couldn't care less about Shaw himself, disappointed because he was pushing for Holloway to get he gig but have no particular support for him, none of them really know what they're doing by the look of things.

I don't doubt what you are saying - or that your source has heard these rumours going around Ewood/Brockhall - but unless he/she has heard this directly from Shebby (unlikely) then they could be rumours being put around as part of a power struggle.

As far as Holloway is concerned - I have my doubts about him, and wonder whether he can repeat his Blackpool success elsewhere. If Shebby has voices these concerns - I could see where he is coming from. The bit about him wanting a puppet must be conjecture - as I very much doubt that Shebby would say such a thing - and his No 1 target, Sherwood, wouldn't be anyone's puppet - so this theory does fall apart at the first hurdle. But as you say - we will wait and see.

Why a fool? He's led all three teams to promotions (okay they're league 1 to championship I know) and his current team sit higher than us in the league without their 40 goal a season man.

Could be wrong but Sam was axed on 13th december and Kean given the job full time on 20th Jan:

Its gone beyond farce. They still can't make a decision and meanwhile the Club is in limbo. When they do finally decide I have no faith that the decision will be the right one.

There is no future with these idiots in charge, bit by bit, week by week we are being destroyed by our owners.

Sherwood would only accept subject to meeting with the owners for reassurances. Singh didn't organise this meeting. Despite his daily contact with the owners and their continued presence in Switzerland.

Holloway is a credible, respected candidate supported by the club and half of Venkys. Singh knifed him to the owners.

McCarthy was overlooked by Singh for not fitting the right profile (whatever that is).

OGS was interested and did apply, yet Singh says he isn't serious about wanting it?

Shearer was a popular choice and certainly a contender, he then asks for reassurances and is subsequently discarded by Singh.

Other credible candidates like Schuster, Daum and Sven have been overlooked by Singh.

Anyone who asks for assurances and autonomy is overlooked.

We discard all of the above but pursue targets like Robinson, Grayson, Davis and Ali. All the while the spectre of Eric Black looms large.

We aren't looking for a manager, we are looking for a puppet. Fact.

I may be wrong but that my name is earl guy looks like a plant to discredit Singh. He comes with claims about Singh destroying the recruitment process, as soon as someone questions why he's the only one with this info out pops a user called sage and says the same thing as earl. As soon as someone questions earls motives he's quick to try and act like he's on the fence.

It's easy to tell which rumours carry weight, usually a number of credible posters hear them. e.g. ppl were posting we've no intention of getting Rhodes I've been told by a good source. we made no approach etc etc.

Couple of our known ITKs said we've heard we are ready to meet any asking price for him.

ppl believed the its all a lie rumours about wanting Rhodes and went hysterical..in the end what happened? as the usual ITKs claimed, we stumped up the money and bought him.

I actually still have faith in Shebby. Would kean of resigned if Shebby wasn't there? I think not.

I would rather they take their time and appoint a decent manager, rather than rush the decision and appoint someone **** just to apease the masses.

This is the biggest appointment in our history.

They have to get this right. I say take their time and asses all the options first.

Anyone expecting a perceived 'suitable' appointment is more than likely going to be disapointed. We have people running the club who haven't made 1 decent decision since they joined us, why are they going to change now?

I have to repeat, reading between the lines I get no similar sense at all that Holloway is interested in the position at Ewood.

The interest comes from the fact he hasn't ruled it out yet which isn't exactly normal is it. Even OGS came out and said he had a job to do and would be still at the club for the rest of the season. Holloway has kept quiet so it leads me to believe that he would be interested if we asked.
