It's not really. What is difficult is that there's no one making a decision. They're running around like headless chickens (puntastic).

Where is The Chairman ? The Board ? Normally they'd sit round a table (ah yes, the famous old Ewood Boardroom table, with plaques of all 92 clubs round the Boardroom, proper) discuss it to death and then come to a decision. If they couldn't the Chair makes the deciding vote. Something like that anyway. Pretty normal, run of the mill democracy. Done in a day.

Now we are run by absolute keanwits. A TV pundit from Malaysia, Captain Confusion, Akorns best mate, Doris Desai and invisible / Whispering Bob Coar. Oh and the two losers from PNE. I mean what chance do we really have of attracting anyone decent? Were they really expecting "the next Mourinho" to knock on the door after displaying their level of stupidity for the last 22 months?

Not only are these clowns incompetent but we also have to pander to their quite blatant various vested interests for three weeks. A veritable pi$$ing contest. Meanwhile, yet again, no one acts in the best interests of Blackburn Rovers Football Club and its supporters.

Run it properly or get out. If Holloway wants it pay the compo and do it. Same with Sherwood. Spin a coin if that helps. Just make a decision you bumbling incompetent idiots. The list may be "mediocre" but even then they won't hang around forever waiting for us.

Spot on Bob.The only thing is that i am not convinced Sherwood is a goer.He has asked to meet the Fokkers which is clearly a problem because Spurs have refused permission and also lets be honest when he gets there and hears their sensational views on the game, the lack of further money and the hideous way the club operates then he will be history anyway.he maybe already suspects this which is why he is unwilling to force a move from Spurs. It may also be possible Holloway has drawn the same conclusions.

Next , Shebby-absloute clown who is living his dream. He without doubt is in dreamland , all expenses paid ,in charge of a club, going to meet various managers , and even appearing in public in a fecking track suit with his initials on.AND he didn't get rid of Kean as he seems to make out-Kean resigned!! So this imposter is another Venkite taking the p1ss mercilessly out of the Club and its fans, despite what Glen and BRAG say.And thats not being critical of them ;they have just let their hearts rule their heads in hopinghe was the answer.

So we are on a crash course to the abyss. If we slip off the promotion pace this side of Xmas (highly likely) then god help this Club.In that happy scenario can you imagine going to Scumley and losing on 2nd Dec??

The guns have to be turned on these Chicken Pluckers right now -as Ewoodhappy so rightly points out in his post.

i wont be behind robinson, in fact i would seriously consider handing back my season ticket,

as for shebby, he doesnt have the final say, who the cluck does he think he is? speccy bazza

What a k#ob head you are,you won't back Robinson and send your season ticket back,if he's the man.Whoever is chosen everyone has to back him, whoever it is,who knows who would be a success, did you send your ticket back when Harford,Kidd were appointed,by Jack, both failures, and when Ince was appointed by JW,you need a lot of luck when getting a new manager,we all know Shebby is a loose cannon, but for the first time since he's been here he's keeping quiet and taking their time and interviewing all the candidates, lets just wait and see,I still think we will end up with Sherwood,a gamble but think he could be a success. If its Robinson I think he would be ok and from what I've seen of him in interviews comes across very well, and not like Coco when his team have not performed he tells it like it should be,if they were crap he says so.

I appreciate why everyone would want Holloway over say Robinson. But i do have a nagging doubt that Holloway might not replicate his Blackpool success with Rovers. Some managers are just a really good fit with certain clubs. It just clicks. I'm not sure he would fit at Rovers. I am probably doing him a great injustice, but i don't know how well his 'one of the boys' 'puddle diving' motivational bit would wash with some of our over paid mercenaries. I think if results took a turn for the worse he'd be an easy target for the players to blame.

What the club needs imo is an almighty kick up the arse! It needs an authoritative figure to whip the players into shape, get some discipline into the side and reassure the fans that the side is in capable hands. It sounds as if this is exactly the opposite approach the club has taken. If this does happen to be true then i honestly cannot see how we'll be much better off than we were under Kean. I cannot understand it in the slightest.

unsall, maybe i AM a knob but i dont beleive robinson has the nessecery experience to manage a club like rovers yet, ince took mk dons into the play-offs, doesnt automatically mean he can do it at a higher level, we need someone with a personality, the fans havent had that for 2 years with kean at the helm, someone on the touchline showing some passion. now is not the time to go for maybes, we need a manager who we can trust in and holloway fits the bill with all those qualities

chaddy, kean spoke well in interviews, doesnt mean sheet

Ince and Robinson have very much different management style. Robinson has been a manager for 3 years which Kean didnt have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Secondly and MOST IMPORTANT, Kean NEVER spoke well. He talk total RUBBISH most of the time in interviews!!!!!!!!!!! as Sport reports have said many times!

There are no ifs and buts about it, new man should have been in this week.

IMO, our club is a shambles.

This week, I've been reminded by letter and email, in addition to seeing tweets from OneRover, that the season ticket deadline is tomorrrow. Just who the feck are these jokers, expecting disaffected fans to fork out full pre season prices with no manager in place and 5 of the 23 games already gone.

Kean went and I was open minded, buying tickets for the Wolves' match and with the right managerial appointment, prepared to get season tickets provided the club did their bit with the price (reflecting 5 games gone).

Sorry, but I think they've done feck all and, possibly, alienated supporters still further.

Even with what I would term to be a very good appointment, it's highly unlikely that I would renew this season but would wait until I could see a change in managerial and operational behaviour.

Grayson, Robinson etc you can keep - don't get the pulse racing.

I want excitement, entertainment and to feel good about Rovers again. Unfortunately, things are now so bad that I fear it might not happen again in my lifetime.

some people complain when Shebby is talking too much to the media and then moan when he doesnt too much. The guy cant win.

Pleased that Shebby isnt talking as much as before and just getting on with the interviewing process. Keeping things private and not revealing any names Rovers have spoken to.

My personal view the new manager will be in place by Sheff Wed Home game.

I don't know if this has already been posted, earlier today Shebby told ESPN:

"Spurs have rejected our request to approach Tim Sherwood - we have been told no.

"Eric Black will be in charge of our team at the weekend, as we have made it clear from the outset that we will not be rushed into a decision. That remains the case.

"We do have a shortlist and we are speaking to other people as well, but as for specific names such as Alan Shearer I cannot say anything.

"We shall carry on in a professional manner without any timeline or being forced by any outside influences to rush into an appointment."

Bottom line - even Andy Cryer says Shebby is staying tight lipped on this one - and yet people are into full panic mode.

Granted our owners track record doesn't fill anyone with optimism.

The time to judge is when the new man is presented to the press - until then everything is conjecture.

If holloway did decide to come here, it would clearly be 100% for the money, does that not bother anybody anymore!

p.s. yes i know money is the key motivation behind most things in football but when its the main(or only) motivation it has been proven time and time again to pretty much be a disaster.

Not the fact we are a much bigger club, who spend more on wages/ transfer fees, with a much bigger capacity/ potential to offer success than the one he's at?

Shebby has a huge say. From past experience, we all know for any deal to go through, it requires the collective agreement of the whole pack, hence the lack of decisions being made. Kean was marginalised with the portuguese lads and that's where it started turning sour for him, it wasn't in the agreement. Shaw does have Desai's ear but it won't happen because Shebby is totally anti-Holloway and it needs everyone to agree.

This is also why I suggested Karl Robinson may be the man as both Shaw and Shebby agree on him, not as first choice though it must be said. It's all boardroom politics.

Why the Kean would anyone with any sense disagree with Holloway being appointed yet agree with Robinson?

Some people have no perspective Bruce. Check out some of the Blackpool forums. There's much talk of "sideways moves". It's like Huddersfield fans all over again.

I wish they'd put us out of our misery and say Eric Black's got the job full-time. It seems the envitable outcome to me. I hope I'm wrong but it seems a very similiar situation to when Big Sam was dismissed. In that people where merrily discussing possible new managers and then we ended up stuck with caretaker Kean full-time.
