  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Also if robinson did come, hopefully he'd bin Black. I agree, I think Black has burnt any bridges he ever may have had. He already has to go so if they appoint him as manager, he won't stand a chance, nor does he deserve one. If Karl robinson is their preferred fallback then get him in now and lets get on with it. Just make up your mind and appoint any one of the numerous suitable applicants. They all have advantages and disadvantages. Most of them have the distinct advantage of being neither Kean nor Black nor have they worked for either of them. We are not, barring a miracle, going up, rather down, so for those saying take your time and get it right, there is probably no right, so take a best fit we can agree on, and let's get behind him and hopefully avoid disaster at least.

Ridiculous. Fans are entitled to be critical of some potential managers given the boast by Shebby of how many famous names were vying for the job. What makes you think we won't get Black anyway?

We will never do any good while Venkys own us and that's not the fault of the fans.

How do we "look bad"? You mean the media will continue to be on our backs? Who cares? All these famous managers who've applied clearly don't.

Keep the pressure up till the scandalously born sell up I say.

A few things I would like to point out with all due respect

1. How do we know any famous managers have applied for the job?

2. I think it's a silly attitude to quite frankly keep up with "Venky's Out" when they could easily just say "Sod it Black have a job"

3. So your saying that as long as Venky's are in charge no matter who we have at the helm we will never do anything? I think that is a tad naive

4. No matter how against the owners the fans are, (and bare in mind I too am against them) they have to accept some responsibility for losses If they are providing a hostile environment for the players to ply their trade.

1. I'm going by what Shebby said.

2. They might do that anyway. They've done the opposite of what's required all along.

3. Not naive oh superior one, totally realistic given our experiences over the last 2 years.

4. The old "fans fault" bit! The team has always been supported. Since you say you're against the owners too, what's the point of your post and what's your solution? Cheer on the lads?

Once and for all, nothing that has happened at this club over the last 2 years in terms of wrong decisions, poor performances, bad tactics, players leaving or anything else to do with the running of the club and competing in a professional league is the fault of the fans. We may have got things a bit wrong at times, but our motives have always been for the good of the club and the team. Who else can you say that about?

1. Well trusting anything Comical Shebby says is silly as he hasn't proven himself at all, just told people what they want to hear and had fans eating our of the palm of his hand. Frankly I imagine David Cameron speaks about the same amount of truth, no truth at all.

2. I agree they might do, no point in pissing them off though

3. (Sigh)

4. Yes support the team instead of hating them. After all to be a fan you have to like the team, even if they play terrible sometimes. It's not the owners fault the team plays bad, that is down to the players, manager and fans ( for providing lack of motivation for the latter two).

Kean is gone and still people continue to moan, personally I think some people will never be happy.

Superior One out!

Let's return back to this planet...

Of course people won't be happy, we've had the worst manager ever in the history of the club relegate us, we've lost our best players, then on top of everything the man responsible wasn't even sacked, he resigned. Now it's get promoted within a couple of seasons or bust and they have taken at last count 21 days and still haven't appointed anyone despite apparently having lots of people applying. Then we hear Shebby Singh come out with a bizarre selection process "the new AVB". And now we are apparently chasing after a guy who has never managed in his life, nor been assistant manager!

People won't be happy until they are certain we have a safe pair of hands managing the club.

Ok yes I agree with some of that, like for example Comical Shebby is a liar.

What I will say is if what you said is true then people may never be happy again.

We need a manager who can come in and lighten the mood amoung all of the players and take the pressure off

We need a manager who the press like

We need a manager who the fans will enjoy listening too

We need a manager who plays football the attacking way

We need a manager who can get 100% from all of his players

We need Holloway

I'm getting sooooo bored of this now! Every day I check on here hoping for some snippet of info that we're about to appoint somebody & it's the same circular discussions with no-one really having any idea. Even all the ITKs have gone quiet! It's doing my nut in!

For me it'd be OGS, but waiting til the end of Molde's season (IMO) would crucify us. It's not just the games whilst we wait for him, it's the half dozen or so games after he arrives for him to get playing his way. So, with this in mind, we need to sound out Holloway & stop keaning about with Sherwood.

For the record, although not my ideal choice, I'd be open to Robinson, heard an interview with him on SSN last week and he came across as being a reasonably intelligent bloke.

Ok, back to sleep now........zzzzzzzzzz

6 managers - controversial, but it may just turn this club round.

The whole sorry mess just confirms to me that we had no intention of sacking Kean. We would surely have had a shortlist drawn up before his departure if that was the case.

Actually scrap this post, I've just remembered what simpletons we have in charge.

Of course we didn't. Kean's departure was never part of the plan.

Sadly I think you last sentence may very well be the case unless Shebby and co see sense, or get overruled from Big Bala.

I disagree I think Shebby is the smartest, smart enough to manipulate our fans into believing his false promises that's for sure

Eh? Are u saying people actually believe a word Shebby says? Seriously? Apart from his little pet who posts on here obviously.

The first part I disagree with if the rumours about a press release being prepared after the Barnsley game confirming his departure were true. At that point people were happy to scream that that highlighted Venky's incompetence, now they are trying to make out Venky's had nothing to do with Kean's departure. You can't have it both ways. To my mind something has clearly happened before the Charlton game for Kean to walk out after travelling down with the team and it seems to me to be the case that we were itching for an excuse to get rid of him ever since Singh joined the Club.

All that makes it even more baffling why the process is being so long winded however.
