  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

Recommended Posts

I posted roughly where I got my info from. The Balaji admiring Holloway is 100% true. As I said its an odd set up if what Kamy and Nixon said is true about Shebby not wanting him.

What do you base your nonsense claim from?

Simply the fact that a subordinate employee (Shebby) could block the appointment of a manager one of the co-owners has picked out.

We need a manager who can come in and lighten the mood amoung all of the players and take the pressure off

We need a manager who the press like

We need a manager who the fans will enjoy listening too

We need a manager who plays football the attacking way

We need a manager who can get 100% from all of his players

We need Holloway

Agree with all apart from "the attacking way"(we need to be able to mix it up and dominate games like the Hughes/Souness years), Holloway wouldn't be my 1st choice but i'd be more than content to have him(but it needs to happen fast!!!).

TBH Blackpool were utter sh1te.If that performance had come from us the MB would have been in meltdown.Just goes to show that this league is distinctly average.A half decent team with decent fitness and a modicum of pace would p1ss it. Sadly we have none of those attributes.

Its getting to the stage where if this club is going bust then bring it on just to get these utter morons out of our town. Its death by a thousand cuts at present.

Should've had a draw. Dingles and Bolton both win under caretaker stewardship. Not unusual but Eric still can't do it.

Don't see why some are getting obsessed with attacking football again - priority should always be results.

Interesting to see Aston Villa trying to play the beautiful game and are getting walloped at the moment.

God forbid we get a manager who leads two teams to lose at Dinglebury land, Holloway is not the answer. I'm firmly in McCarthy territory, someone who won't take any sh*t, but ultimately why we won't get anyone like that - no one can deal with Owners who know Kean all about running a football club, v depressed of Clitheroe.

Well as I said it's an odd set up, but as far as I know that's the state of play. And it's from three separate people. Course they could all be talking bull, but I doubt it very much.

After watching the Burnley v Blackpool game , I have a feeling , if we approach Holloway we might get a yes !!

Blackpool looked poor and similar to us are on the slide . think Holloway has taken them as far as he can ..

Not my choice , we will still be unable to defend ...But he is an improvement on Kean and Black ..

If I was a gambling man , I could be tempted in putting a few quid on Sherwood !

I'm convinced he will say yes. It's just whether Shebby would have someone as headstrong and honest in charge.

Is Shebby Mrs Desai's pawn?

Or do we have Shaw and Balaji Rao pulling in one direction with Holloway, Singh pulling in another wanting Sherwood or bust, Mrs Desai wanting Black, Jethro Rao wanting god knows who ...?

I'll be surprised if we get someone in before Christmas. It's taken that long there can be no pretension of "biding their time, making sure they get it right" that we've had so often from tooth fairy believers.

Personally of the opinion this is just another power struggle.. got to remember how Shaw and Agnew arrived in their jobs, they are going to want someone to back them up so they keep them.. at the same time Shebby isn't going to let that happen and will want someone he can work with.. then add the owners who seem to enjoy undermining each other while trying their best to made a complete mess of things....and we are on the road to nowhere.

Shebby was OK'd by Mrs D but is very much Balaji's point man. Brought in to help spend/manage Balaji's splurge on Rovers.

Now Shaw has wormed his way into Mrs D's approval and has been OK'd by her to act.

So we have two non-bosses running round making their own non-appointments.

The press are carrying conflicting stories which for the most part are all true. Two if not three people at the top of Rovers are briefing their own versions of events.

The way Michel Salgado has been tweeting tonight suggests he has/ will apply...

I would not be suprised if he does apply with a friend of his who seems to of dropped out of the running despite being a name in the game.. would be a near ideal situation for Shebby to avoid Holloway/Grayson and combine the young and the old .

Was very suprised he dropped out of the running... especially given Shebby is a fan http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/litee/opinion/article/Schuster-for-Sunderland/#

I doubt it. If he was then Kean would still be here.

For what it's worth I don't think Shebby fired Kean. Or at least, I have doubts. But really, it's difficult to know what the score is, but I would definitely wager that it is not an organized, professional process.

Lets face it could Michel be any worse than Kean or Black?

I would certainly give him a shot

I think it'd be a romantic appointment and not necessarily the right one (not that I think he'd be remotely interested with the way he's been treated by the club).

I do think one day that he'll be a good manager.

So Balaji Rao wants Holloway

The man he brought in to do his bidding doesn't want Holloway.

Not sure how credible that sounds, but given the mammoth incompetence so far, I'm willing to believe it,

Perhaps Singh's turned rogue agent , bit like Jack Bauer but at a much lower level of competence.
