  1. 1. Which of the following managers would you accept

I think Holloway is now treading water at Blackpool.

Heard that Blackpool performance at Burnley was very much not in the Holloway mould.

Think both he and the Blackpool players now know that his heart lies at Brockhall and Ewood.

Have heard the words mentioned 'would crawl over broken glass'........................

Come on Venky's, time to deliver.

Blackpool boss Holloway in line to replace Blackburn villain Kean at Ewood

By BOB CASS

PUBLISHED: 22:30

Ian Holloway is set to be offered the job as Blackburn Rovers manager with the directive to get the club back into the Premier League next season and a massive budget to help him achieve it.

Indian-based owner Venky’s has targeted the Blackpool boss as its top choice and will make an official approach within a week.

this is like watching documentaries on the holocaust, you really want to do something but you know you cant, so frustrating, i want to drive to singh's house now and let him know what we all think, drag him to ewood, get him to ring holloway at gunpoint and tell him the job is his.

Can any ITKs (eg Kamy) confirm if that story is true?

Andy Cryer has been pretty close to the truth recently and seems to think he's an option whilst not certain but would take the job if offered

Says we have given up on Sherwood but have other irons in the fire but not McCarthy, OGS or Robinson

Could just be rumours but I don't think the ITK's and Cryer have a clue what is fact and fiction now so we may never find out if SS wanted Holloway or not.

It's a pretty well known fact that Singh is looking for his own protege, where they can share the same vision/direction and take the club forward together, himself as DoF. Holloway is not that man because he is his own man and would not suffer fools.

This is why Shebby is so anti-Ian Holloway whether he is right or wrong to do that. Personally, from articulating an opinion based on the thoughts of those who have contact with Shebby, I would suggest he's looking for a puppet who can train the team and leave control of everything else with Singh. The manager would, in that case, be a puppet.

I would rather have a manager who makes all his own decisions so that he is accountable for his decisions and so that his vision can be realised without interference.

Holloway wants it, the fans want him, but Singh's got a lob on for Sherwood. I predict we Kean about trying to get Sherwood in for another week, Holloway gets keaned off waiting for us to make an official approach and he ends up at Bolton because he's made his mind up that he's going to leave Blackpool. Meanwhile we appoint Black because he finally won a game.

What if the owners are the ones not wanting certain managers, will it still be Shebbys fault?

Yes for the simple reason that he is their man on the spot; their appointed advisor and he is the one they will listen to above all others.

Is he not a bit of a clown? I always think of Holloway as a bit of a comedian.....funny, yes but no real track record and a lucky play off win. Did Blackpool finish 6th in their promotion season?

Can't see why the majority of fans would be happy with him.

Popular with the media, plays attacking football and commands respect.

Not my first choice but I would have him in tomorrow if it meant his over stretched wait for a proper manager was ended.

second that. Holloway looks like he knows he cant take Blackpool any further tbh.

who is this other Option??? Must be a unemploy manager like Schuster.

Shebby says a lot of things - most of it utter boll@cks.

Maybe but let's face it, by Wednesday, that will be almost 4 weeks since Kean left.

I think we are now getting very close for all sorts of reasons.
