Hanks Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Was that the game when Steve Livingstone scored in a (I think) 1-1 draw? Can't remember who scored but it was a 1-1 draw and it was august 1991

forumquizmaster Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Can't remember who scored but it was a 1-1 draw and it was august 1991 Sounds like it was the same game. Livingstone scored with a header. Some tasty pre and post match battles that day!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The police and clubs have lost the plot with this fixture. I'm not sure what happened between the evening replay at Ewood in 2005 when everyone made their own way there and now to make this 'bubble' thing necessary. Couldn't agree more.it appears that both clubs are making it as hard as possible for the fans to attend the away fixtures and that's probably with added Police pressure...it is a load of over the top rollocks!
Hanks Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 When's the Blackpool ticket deadline? Tomorrow
Ossydave Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 It is OTT but is it really THAT hard to fill out a form and sit on a coach for a bit? I wouldn't miss it for the world!
Gally Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 It is OTT but is it really THAT hard to fill out a form and sit on a coach for a bit? I wouldn't miss it for the world! Agreed. Was a bit of a faff last time, especially for those who have to travel to Blackburn, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility we won't play this fixture again for a good few years. These are the games you remember, personally I'd be happy waiting in a coach all day for this one.
BigUts Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Application posted today. Can't keaning wait!
SD4E Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Application posted today. Can't keaning wait! yep, we got 4 half season tickets today and that allowed us to apply for turf morgue. cant wait. Hands, Burnley hands up...
Clitherover Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Seems like the brickie's goals are drying up a bit now, couldn't have come at a better time tbh. Anyone know which pubs in Blackburn I might be able to watch the game?, I know it's not on Sky but I'm hoping for a foreign channel to be showing it.
longsiders1882 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Yep, 2 games now, a real barren spell for him. Not been getting the same service last couple of games and one of our main providers got sent off yesterday. We just have to hope he's back on form come the second!
OJRovers Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Any ST holders with a spare application place who want someone to go to the Burnley game with please PM me. I can cover all your ticket costs and bring sweets/tea/mince pies for the coach. Been to all the other recent Burnley games, don't want to miss this.

Rovers have sold less than 2000 so far according to the ticket office on Friday. Will be highly embarrassing if the fans don't fill this one. The boycotters should be back now and buying a half season ticket (I was one) and that qualifies them for a Ticket to the morgue, so really should be selling out.
Clitherover Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Yep, 2 games now, a real barren spell for him. Couldn't tell whether that was a sarcastic comment or not but seeing as your a decent poster, especially for a Dingle, I'll give you the benifit of the doubt.

There were only 1500 who could possibly buy a ticket at thie first stage, so 2000 given the restrictions so far is fine... we will sell out
tomphil Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Unless they relax the restrictions a bit it won't sell out. Similar to 2000 when a similar allocation and restriction saw about 300 tckts unsold, not a big deal really but some claret mongs go on about it to this day.
longsiders1882 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I'm hearing tickets aren't flying out this end either, may well not sell out from what I hear. And yes clitheroe, my tongue was firmly in my cheek.
ABBEY Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Ha , dingle at work says burnley tickets sold out on first day.
Plastics Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 If somebody applied for a ticket last Friday in the 'season ticket holder/no away game' category of applicants, approximately when will they hear if they have been successful or not?

Keep an eye on your One Rovers account. Confirmation will be on there when processed.
stuwilky Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Ha , dingle at work says burnley tickets sold out on first day. Yet they are on general sale to their supporters. Must have been restricted to one per family ;-)
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 19, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted November 19, 2012 They've been on sale for ages have the tickets for the Rovers game, remember my Burnley supporting mate going on about it.
the original david brent Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 There were only 1500 who could possibly buy a ticket at thie first stage, so 2000 given the restrictions so far is fine... we will sell out They might do if there is a phase 3 ie general sale for anybody with a history of purchasing tickets on the database. If not I fear a repeat of the game in 2000 when we did not sell out.
Plastics Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Keep an eye on your One Rovers account. Confirmation will be on there when processed. Thanks.
Ralfinho Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Just checked my One Rovers account and money gone out for the ticket and also the travel!!! Roll on the 2nd
