Oklahoma Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sky sports score centre puts us playing in a 4-4-2 with Hanley has left midfielder lol
HemelRover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 So are we playing: Robbo Orr Dann Hanley Givet Etuhu Lowe CKR Dunn Olsson Rhodes I bloody hope so. Definetly feel that's our best possible formation, and probably line up too.
The Rover of Finland Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 So are we playing: Robbo Orr Dann Hanley Givet Etuhu Lowe CKR Dunn Olsson Rhodes Finally Olsson plays where he should. I bloody hope so. Definetly feel that's our best possible formation, and probably line up too. I would like to see Henley rather than Orr.
bluebruce Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 So are we playing: Robbo Orr Dann Hanley Givet Etuhu Lowe CKR Dunn Olsson Rhodes That was what I guessed too. And it could actually work I think...
Ricky Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 playing where he should, yet in 25 minutes I've not heard his name once.
perthblue02 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 playing where he should, yet in 25 minutes I've not heard his name once. From what I can gather from Smiley and nicey on Rovers player sounds like everything's going through the middle and not using width or Dowie could have called him something else
Majiball Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 whilst I'm pleased to see 4231 I'd rather see vuckevic playing in the hole with Lowe dropped and Dunn back there spreading the passes round.
alexanders Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Lowe has been one of the best players today according to Radio Rovers.
booth Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Oh..give us a break Dunn's been robbing a living for years...lazy fat turd. Hehe, we're 1-0 up thanks to Dunn and Doc Manhattan comes along with his cock out spoiling the atmos.
Sparky Marky Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 e DISAGREE! Its Dunn's best posistion, he proved under Big Sam and is proving RIGHT NOW! Just Kean neve played him there he played him cm, luckily Black isnt as useless as Kean. COYB! Oh..give us a break Dunn's been robbing a living for years...lazy fat turd.
Ricky Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I think a few would rather that Maj, but you can't play someone who's been ruled out injured!
perthblue02 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Current stats via Rovers player POSSESSION (%) 62 38 SHOTS ON TARGET 1 0 SHOTS OFF TARGET 7 3 CORNERS 2 3 FOULS 1 2 Dunn injured - on Rochina
hesfromburn Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I would agree a few years ago but if you want to counter attack, your offensive midfielders need pace. Dunn has a great passing ability but he is not the player to run a fast counter attack. Well football is about opinions, but I think aslong as you have pace out wide - Olsson & Kazim that is enough, pace at full back is also helpful but we have Givet & Orr. That is more than good enough. I think the one 'in the hole' is there to pull the strings...... Well he is now injured and rochina is on in his place... is that enough pace for you!!
Oklahoma Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not again!!! It's not my fault he got injured. Rochina has pace. Let's see if he has the inteligence to use it correctly.
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2012 Backroom Posted October 24, 2012 Dunn injured, quelle surprise. Why doesn't he just retire?
hesfromburn Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Dunn was our best player untill he came off, Dont know if Rochina can offer us the same outlet and contol in that posistion,
Salgado Is A Hero Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Off topic but I recommend people watch the Dortmund-Madrid game btw......1-1 now and a very enjoyable game to watch.
perthblue02 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sounds like there is a bit of urgency with Rochina since he came on
Roverthechimp Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Team leading, manager making sensible and positive decisions - must find something to bitch about and resist temptation to be happy and give credit
The Rover of Finland Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Atleast there is one thing at the club you count on. Dunny keeps picking injuries.
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2012 Backroom Posted October 24, 2012 Dowie saying we're being dominated in terms of possession and playing on the counter attack... is this true? At home to Sheffield Wednesday?
Salgado Is A Hero Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Dowie saying we're being dominated in terms of possession and playing on the counter attack... is this true? At home to Sheffield Wednesday? Maybe it's a case of step 1, sort out the defence....step 2, counter attack with pace....step 3, attempt play our way through teams. I dunno.....he did say we're dominating possession anyway.
alexanders Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Possesion: 50% - 50% Shots on: 3 - 0 Shots off: 7 - 5
