braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Talkshyte have just had a 10 minute rant pleading with Redknapp not to join this ex Mill Town backwater,North West based,no support, never ever won anything, horrible fans who eat babies and protest, never any sunshine, below the national average wage football club called Blackburn Rovers. All because they spoke to Glen?
Gumbi Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Redknapp on SSN now. He's at home in Portsmouth and not interested in the job.
booth Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Redknapp just been on SkySports. Says it's a load of nonsense, a good club, a good job, but not for him.
1mattjansen Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 harry on sky sports news now saying hes not in blackburn and not interested ......
braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 He's on ssn now, sat at home, not interested Can anyone confirm this?
alexanders Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That was that. Now its Holloway or Berg. What will people feel if Berg is given the job ?
booth Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 To be fair he's saying some nice things about the club but he's just saying it's not for him at the moment.
callumrovers Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 LOL Berg it is then. I have been told to expect Holloway tho.
booth Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That was that. Now its Holloway or Berg. What will people feel if Berg is given the job ? Over Holloway, I'd feel that Shebby is an utter idiot.
davulsukur Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That was that. Now its Holloway or Berg. What will people feel if Berg is given the job ? Underwhelmed.
callumrovers Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I'll give Berg a chance, but I can imagine this is going to leave a lot of fans feeling underwhelmed. If Venkys get Holloway now, all is well.
vwcr Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Holloway it needs to be then... come on shebby sort yourself out
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Errrrr....so Redknapp wasn't even interviewed then?
Tugay-is-God Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Sounds like he could have been tempted but wasn't convinced.
sns4ever Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Well that redknapp stuff was short lived couldnt help but get my hopes up though when will I learn?looks like berg confirmed by tomorrow then!
braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Who were the ones 'in the know' who said he was being interviewed?
Lathund Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That was that. Now its Holloway or Berg. What will people feel if Berg is given the job ? Not sure to be honest. I liked him a lot as a player, and he was the kind of player you'd expect would make a good manager as well. What I hear about his management style, and some of his comments on Rovers over the last couple of years, gives me some optimism. But it it still a massive gamble, and after Kean (and to a lesser extent Ince) gambles with managerial appointments make me nervous. But he would definitely get my full support, I like the man. Would prefer OGS - if we've waited this long we might as well wait until the Norwegian title is decided.
True Blue & White Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 To be fair he's saying some nice things about the club but he's just saying it's not for him at the moment EVER. Corrected for you
Backroom Tom Posted October 30, 2012 Backroom Posted October 30, 2012 Shows that nobody is really 'ITK' How many said he was being interviewed today?
booth Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 If it's taken this long to appoint Berg, Robinson or similar, Shebby needs to be asked some serious questions.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Who were the ones 'in the know' who said he was being interviewed? LET?....more bull to fool the fans with.
LeChuck Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Even some of the journalists who were saying Redknapp would be interviewed were saying that it could be his representatives that travel up to speak to Rovers. There have been too many people saying Redknapp is talking to Rovers for it to be complete rubbish, so the above would make the most sense under the circumstances.
koi Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I didn't believe for one minute he was being interviewed or even interested, wish he was interested but never going to happen.
