True Blue & White Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 The crowd won't turn on Berg so soon. I think this is Shebby's entire thinking on this. I reckon he's thought employing an ex-rover is the only way to guarantee him not being booed and yes I do think he's that naive.

Hughesy Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Does anyone on here know if Berg is into the modern techniques in football?
Roost Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 i will be quite happy with Berg. Top draw player for us and as far as i'm aware never said/done anything negative toward fans and club and i have absolutely no reason not to want the fella to succeed if he gets the job. No slippery agent joined at the hip, no hidden agenda's and hopefully all football related decisions to be made for footballing reasons alone. If he fails sack him quickly as was the norm and we can be a proper club again Great post. Although he may not be the big name we hoped for, he does seem determined, single minded and honest. Add to that he probably respects the fans more than other ex players previously mentioned and he won't be bullied. If it is to be Berg, then lets get behind him. It could just work.
ABBEY Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 So both Bolton and Burnley entered the managerial race after us and got managers before us. There is taking your time and then being as slow as a tortoise with chewing gum on the the bottom of its feet. and scunny
Kelbo Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Me thinks someone is still upset that Shilton got outjumped by an oompa loompa. I am upset that he, who in my opinion is a horrible excuse for a human being, is touted as a manager of our football club!! Indeed, he is not fit to be mentioned in the same breath as Henning Berg!
Mercer Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Wonder if we can expect a statement from Shebby tomorrow should the managerial appointment not happen ?
braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Who is hated more? lets get him in and sign Barton, Ched Evans, Lee hughes etc!! Trouble is, Balaji likes his superstars even though to me he wasnt, nowhere near George Best! I think anyone from more recent generations see him as hilarious rather than holding any malice towards him, whatsoever. And anybody who can get one over on England is good in my books.
Kelbo Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Does anyone on here know if Berg is into the modern techniques in football? Alexanders is your man on this one but |I would guess he is, he is an intelligant man and will membrace all the latest technology etc
Salgado Is A Hero Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Isn't it strange that its our Norwegian supporters bigging up berg and calling him a great choice? Couldn't be anything to do with them wanting a Norwegian manager managing at a higher level? As for me, berg? Bleh!!! But they're the only ones who know what he's like as a manager......what would we base it on? Nothing.....doesn't stop some people though does it? Sven is the only manager to put up with this nuthouse...but he'd get us up now and good contacts when we go up. He's due a bit of luck. Id be happy. Sven & Shebby Show. No no no.....failed at Leicester as he didn't understand what it took to win in this league. Oh definitely but he was never in the running was he, he even said it himself on numerous occasions. Of course he denied it.....managers, players, chairmen etc deny things all the time in football......a lot of it eventually comes true....it's called covering your back.
Mercer Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 and scunny and Ipswich to confirm the dynamic duo of McCarthy and Connor tomorrow !
Stuart Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Me thinks someone is still upset that Shilton got outjumped by an oompa loompa. Me!!!! And it never gets any easier... Broke a young boy's heart - kean.
Kelbo Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I think anyone from more recent generations see him as hilarious rather than holding any malice towards him, whatsoever. And anybody who can get one over on England is good in my books. He didnt get one over on England, he cheated, cheated England, the Ref and the game of football!!
braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 He didnt get one over on England, he cheated, cheated England, the Ref and the game of football!! I don't think you know what getting one over on someone can mean.
Stuart Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 He didnt get one over on England, he cheated, cheated England, the Ref and the game of football!! Thanks for quoting that. I like occasional reminders as to why I have him/her on ignore.
Backroom DE. Posted October 30, 2012 Backroom Posted October 30, 2012 Wonder if we can expect a statement from Shebby tomorrow should the managerial appointment not happen ? Perhaps, but if one does come out expect it to have a lot of words but say absolutely nothing.
ABBEY Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Yeah, pass that message to Glen and the BRAG will tell Shebby Singh......oh wait, don't bother. You guys are going to abuse him again anyway, and claim that BRAG's views don't represent the majority of fans. And so the cycle of abuse repeats...... Do you have anything to say other than licking shabbys butt?
Kelbo Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I don't think you know what getting one over on someone can mean. Braddock, you kids cant I am sure educate me, I have just retired from a senior managerial position after 50 years of working and you have the audacity to tell me I dont know what getting one over on someone can mean? Bloody hell!
SydneyRover Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I don't want Maradona anywhere near our club but that's because he won't be a good enough manager not because of his character. Sure he cheated for the Hand of God goal but it's no worse than diving for a penalty. If the officials weren't so stupid as to allow it, it would have been forgotten.
booth Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Obviously 100% correct. I mean, you guys all know exactly what is happening when nobody else does. A little bit more correct than having an avatar of the woman who has brought this mess on us, along with a signature of "sack the fans" as Steve Kean takes us further into oblivion. Yeah you are never wrong are you. Do you actually live in Blackburn? It doesn't take much to find a lot of what's going on at the club out. It's not as if we're a city club. I mean for goodness sake, Shebby himself is quite open with a lot of this. What is 100% correct is that you are a pillock, and will always be a pillock. If you weren't a pillock you might learn something.
ABBEY Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Oooh it's a bit tetchy on here tonight! I reckon Harry did fancy the job for the money but it wasn't on offer. He then swiftly did the rounds to get his version of events out first. God knows who will get the job. I'm almost beyond caring now. thing is if harry wanted it and we didnt offer enough ,how much did he want because surly to cluck they would have offered him numb nuts' 16 million ...
dwayne cage Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 and Ipswich to confirm the dynamic duo of McCarthy and Connor tomorrow ! One of the most proven managers in this league, great appointment for Ipswich
BigAlan Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 This is beyond tiresome now. When are these utter morons ever going to realise that it's all about Blackburn Rovers F.C? It's not about self preservation, egos, money, looking good in front of your friends etc. etc. Not one decision has been taken for the good of the club. They had (maybe still do) the chance to win back at least a good few of the fans but here we are, almost 5 weeks later, still keaning around. How are they so stupid? They have learnt absolutely nothing and its a wonder that people still want to be associated with Venky's. The nightmare continues
braddock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Braddock, you kids cant I am sure educate me, I have just retired from a senior managerial position after 50 years of working and you have the audacity to tell me I dont know what getting one over on someone can mean? Bloody hell! ??
alexanders Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Alexanders is your man on this one but |I would guess he is, he is an intelligant man and will membrace all the latest technology etc I am not sure, but I guess he is up to date.
BigBar Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That piece of Kean, kean prob sitting a home convincing himself that the reason we dont have a new manager is because he is such a hard man to replace, knowledgable, respected, loved, loyal, one of a kind manager!! deluded as the ones tryin to appoint the new man!
