Rover_Shaun Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 How long will it take berg to backtrack on his anti-venky comments from the spring? It took shebby seconds to sell his soul for cash

chris_h Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Henning needs support , I doubt if any manager could get these players promoted this season ... We need a clear out of the dross bought by the last incumbent . Kean gone and new manager all but ! What is Singh going to do now ? I think we have the best squad in this dire division. Holloway or McCarthy would have got us up imo.
forumquizmaster Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Agree with most of what you say there, but sometimes a man can just be a right fit for a club. Roberto Di Matteo at Chelsea is a good example. He never would have gotten the Chelsea job in the back of managing MK Dons and West Brom if it wasn't for the fact he was an ex-Chelsea player. However, because he was well respected by all and got what the club was about (something AVB failed at miserably), he was able to galvanise the club and restore harmony. That is an excellent point and a very good analogy (hopefully)
braddock Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Can we all agree that Shebby is a tool and doesn't know what he's doing but Berg will get our backing and we cautiously anticipate some much needed change within the club, to whatever extent it manifests itself? I think most would agree to that Henning Bergs Blue and White army I'll go with that Braddock rallying call As long as some of the changes involve P45's for three prominent board members then the task will be even easier COYB Spot on! I agree with Braddock....first time ever! You had to get one thing right on here. For once I agree with you. Shebby won't be aware of that yet. They like me! They really like me!
s_simpson_9 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Kean or Berg? I'll go with a winner. And I'm glad to be rid of a half wit.
Puffsan Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 henning berg quote from rovers - wigan broadcast when we got relegated "it would be fun to take over a club like blackburn, but if you are to take over as manager in a club you must have proper owners. it is madness to take over a club with owners like that. No proper manager with any cred will take a job like that because you will shoot yourself in the foot." if he has accepted the job im pretty sure he has been given some promises by shaw/shebby/venkys because i dont think he would take this job at any cost given his former comments on it
Kelbo Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Surely your post should be named at Maj, who suggested that the bleep test shouldn't be used as players "never run continuously in a game." Now keep jogging you cretin. Your posts, each and everyone bears no content, the intelligence of a schoolchild (Primary) and offers nothing to discussion whatsoever, as for the cretin part, I do understand that you learn the odd new words at school !!
Blue n White Rover Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Black will be off. Probably Brunskill and Mimms. Likely Hendry too. Take a guess who'll be choosing the replacements.

braddock Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 you can't agree with his No it isn't above braddock, sometimes you are as big a tool as coco Don't be unreasonable all your life, have a day off. Though being unreasonable is your perogative It is everybodies right to think what they think is right for them, but it is not their perogative to do what they think is right for them. Aleister Crowley is not a man you can trust to construct a mindset behind a society which gives true freedom to all.
True Blue & White Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Henning needs support , I doubt if any manager could get these players promoted this season ... WTF? We are sat in in the play off places and only 2 points off the automatic places, and that's without having a proper manager all season. Whatever you think of Berg he is clearly step up from Kean and the play-offs is the least I expect from him. We have one of the strongest squads in our league! Some of the posts on here really confuse me. Holloway is the next messiah, we've got a crap squad that has no chance of getting promoted...seriously what are they putting in the water up there?

You had a pop for no reason, failed to address the point of my post, and then retort with a "schoolboy" jibe. Seriously, I'm not wasting anymore time on posters with no brain. Now go away.

RibbleValleyRover Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Being a very good player for Rovers and achieving a lot as a player doesn't guarantee he will be a success as the manager. We have seen this countless times at other clubs where it has gone wrong. Also this stuff about "He knows English football, he knows Rovers" is nonsense. Berg last played for Rovers in 2003 and we all know the club has changed a hell of a lot since then especially off the field. Those fans that are disappointed about the appointment are probably the same ones that are most worried about the financial situation at the club and what failure would be like if Rovers do not get promoted at the first time of asking. Berg has no experience of this league and there will be huge pressure on him to be a success straight away - there will be no time to learn on the job here.
braddock Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Black will be off. Probably Brunskill and Mimms. Likely Hendry too. Take a guess who'll be choosing the replacements. Will you accept any positivism into your life?

Agreed, he really does need to get us promoted. Surely that's what he's been told by the club, and surely that's what he's convinced them he can do this season?

braddock Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 When people claim others have the right to do as they wish, it's a natural response to say they can't. Anyway, back to management.
Batman. Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012  Still struggling to address the original point. Keep going- PM me by all means, you're one of the denser posters by all accounts so it shouldn't take too long.
ewoodpo Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 TV2 reporting that Henning Berg has been offered the Blackburn Rovers- job. Henning is working for TV2.... #brfc Retweeted by Martin Blackburn

I think Berg is several steps up from kean , but I think most of the players are poor ,to say the least ... Yes , we may get to the play offs . But with only the Jan transfer window between now and then , it is going to be difficult to weed the worst ones out .. I actually would prefer Berg to Holloway , for what it is worth , Holloway found a niche at Blackpool a couple of years ago and are now going downhill ..
alexanders Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Black will be off. Probably Brunskill and Mimms. Likely Hendry too. Take a guess who'll be choosing the replacements. I guess Berg. I cant for my life see that Shebby if that who you are refering to will choose them.
yoda Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Will you accept any positivism into your life? Positivism is a philosophy of science based on the view that in the social as well as natural sciences, data derived from sensory experience, and logical and mathematical treatments of such data, are together the exclusive source of all authoritative knowledge.[1] Positivism assumes that there is valid knowledge (truth) only in scientific knowledge.[2] Obtaining and verifying data that can be received from the senses is known as empirical evidence. I think the empirical evidence shows that you are a numpty braddock
