booth Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Gary Flitcroft set to take over tomorrow- is word going around press box Oh dear.
John Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Does Flitcroft usually attend home matches these days??
Emge Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Gary Flitcroft set to take over tomorrow- is word going around press box Probably just because he is there watching, then people starts thinking its a done deal or whatever. I cant see us appointing Flitcroft
RoverScot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Garry Flitcroft shortening rapidly 3-1 at sky bet now.
AJW Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Does Flitcroft usually attend home matches these days?? yes , dont panic yet
Andy Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Gary Flitcroft set to take over tomorrow- is word going around press box Yep, just came on to post this myself...
BuckyRover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Glen will be in big trouble if this turns out to be true... I don't buy it though
RoverScot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Well he has experience of beating Kirkham and Wesham in a playoff final... I believe Nicko thinks its Keith Hill which is why he asked which Flitcroft brother was there.
booth Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 If it is Flitcroft, we've literally gone down and down and down in the managerial rankings. From Schuster and Trappatoni, to Holloway and McCarthy, to Grayson, to Karl Robinson and Keith Hill, to McKinley and Sherwood, to Judan Ali, to Flitcroft... What next, Ethel the cleaner at Darwen FC?
RoverScot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Does the Ethel the cleaner give a good presser?
Andy Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 The person I spoke to is a friend of Flitcrofts and Flitcroft has apparently already approached Craig Short for assistant manager with Jansen at 1st team coach. Chap seems absolutely adamant that 1) Flitcroft is being appointed tomorrow and 2) Flitcroft is completely dedicated to the club and turning us around.
Blandy Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Apparently Ian Dowie has said on SSN that the rumour in the press box is that Flitty is to take over tomorrow
alderson777 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Please god not flitcroft.... I would take Mckinlay in a heartbeat compared to him! I thought we ha seen sense.... Hmmmmmmm!
Emge Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Aaaabsolutely underwhelming if its true.........!!
robbojohnno Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Flitcroft took us up as captain, now as manager??
RoverScot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 The odds are tumbling to 7/4 now at Sky Bet with most bookies still suspended. It would make sense if Dowie has announced it on Sky Sports. And now Sky bet has suspended.
watford-rover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 why would they put out a statement saying there about to start interviewing candidates to already have flitcroft lined up, im not buying it myself, believe it when i see it.
Alan75 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Well I'd bee happy with Flitty, Short and Jansen - we could even get them into first team duty
EwoodGlory Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Mckinlay is much more highly rated than flitcroft, surely? What a joke if true I fear with shebby being on the box tomorrow someone will be in
Ricky Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 But thousands of BRAG members don't want Sherwood or McKinlay, so they'll all be really happy with this appointment if it happens. They have their wish it's neither of the two who would send the fanbase into a Meltdown.
