Roverall Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 And here was I wondering why Gary had pieces of string sticking out of his back!

BuckyRover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I maybe wrong but I am sure that certain representives of BRAG were suggesting Flitcrofts name a number of weeks ago. Fancy that. I assume circa. 8000 members will be the peak of the membership.
Bob Dewhurst Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I know for a fact that Glen Mullan has Flitcrofts phone number
Alan75 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Think you may be right. How the feck has Singh even heard of Flitcroft. I presume there is a photo somewhere of him at Ewood winning promotion at Deepdale - with a t shirt reading this ones for jack
Muddboy Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Flitcroft was with Singh at tonight's game apparently. Seems the rumours tonight are coming from both of them not being able to keep their mouths shut. That's confirmed it for me. This Flitcroft rumour is a load of tosh.
Dunnfc Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Right behind flitty craig short experience at notts county. Must keep black on though.
Bundesburn Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I know for a fact that Glen Mullan has Flitcrofts phone number Yeah, but who's got Glen Mullan's number. Do we get the feeling that he's had a hand in this?
Mullionvagrant Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 In all honesty i don't mind the idea of Flitcroft, short and janson (as a 3). I like the fact i could trust them and they would have the interests of the club at heart. Small club trying to punch above its weight with heart and sole. I know others won't agree, but to me this is far better than a chancer like eriksson in charge of our club... The integrety of those at our helm and them doing it for the right reasons are 80% of a club to me. I hated having no sole under Kean. It is not the ideal candidate. Better could have been appointed as i feel we could have had similar with a lot of added experience/expertise with holloway but..... Wow-i'm going to get slaughtered for this aren't i....oh well!!!!
RoverScot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Glen posted on here a couple of weeks ago saying "How would a Flitcroft/Short/Jansen combination sound?" expecting a positive reaction but was met by a negative one. Don't worry - anyone who has beaten Kirkham AND Wesham won't be a yes man.
moerpho Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 How the feck has Singh even heard of Flitcroft. Probably his favourite player on Championship Manager 2000/2001 - his main scouting asset it seems. If this rumour is true I really really hope they (Flitcorft, Short & Jansen) do ok as I wouldn't want my good memories of them tarnished.
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2012 Backroom Posted October 24, 2012 Why would Glen recommend Flitcroft after releasing a press comment damning the potential appointments of McKinlay/Sherwood?
roverandout Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 anyone who supports this appointment is keaning moron
BuckyRover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Probably his favourite player on Championship Manager 2000/2001 - his main scouting asset it seems. If this rumour is true I really really hope they (Flitcorft, Short & Jansen) do ok as I wouldn't want my good memories of them tarnished. It will be Venky's, Shebby and BRAG that get the aggro if this goes sour. I'm sure our multi millionaire team are looking forward to working with a non league manager and finding out what they can learn from him.
Mullionvagrant Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Why would Glen recommend Flitcroft after releasing a press comment damning the potential appointments of McKinlay/Sherwood? I never trusted the idea of McKinlay and i wasn't too sure about Sherwood (his media links etc with Sky and the fact he would possibly move on etc). Of the 3 i trust Flitty the most thats for sure... Lets be honest non of them have the experience needed but laughably if we take experience and ability to manage out of the equation i think flitty comes out on top
Lhrover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 black and mckinlay aren't experienced enough 'hires flitcroft' as much as I like flitcroft I just don't think its a good appointment for us. Ive been wrong before but it will take some doing
pick32 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 If Singh fails he goes back to his old job if flitcroft a a success he is a hero, I'd support flitcroft wouldn't be my first choice but is certainly back him.
Bundesburn Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I'm gonna stick with Cryer on this and not believe the rumour. Having said that, given the arrogance of BRAG over the past few days, if it transpires that they've had a hand in this and it's true, I will be livid.
Backroom Tom Posted October 24, 2012 Backroom Posted October 24, 2012 I maybe wrong but I am sure that certain representives of BRAG were suggesting Flitcrofts name a number of weeks ago. On twitter the day after Kean left I know It was mentioned that a flitcroft, Jansen and short combination would be better than Sherwood, its a leap to say its anything more than a throwaway comment and coincidence though You just worry about Shebby that there's a chance he could be influenced
Reedy You're A Star Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I hope someone has warned the players' other halves that shagger could be back in town. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-107394/Unmasked-cheating-soccer-star.html
danger19_80 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Personally take Flitcroft/Short/Jansen over McKinley any day of the week.
T.J.Newton Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Hopefully the flitcroft stuff is just more over reaction(i hope), hes prob just one of a handful of managers that are going to be interviewed over the coming day.
BuckyRover Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Personally take Flitcroft/Short/Jansen over McKinley any day of the week. Apologies. I would slightly prefer to McKinlay. That's not saying much though
perthblue02 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Could Flitcroft and co be being lined up as the backroom team ? with a view to them becoming front of house sometime in the future
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2012 Backroom Posted October 24, 2012 You just worry about Shebby that there's a chance he could be influenced I think it's absolutely obvious Shebby can be very easily influenced. You only have to look at the meeting he had with the fans at the start of the season to see he just goes with whatever seems popular at the time to the people he's with. No way a fool like him should be entrusted with a decision like this. I never thought I'd say this but Shaw should be the one spearheading the manager search, if only because he's the only person in our current "structure" who has any remote idea what is really required.
Mullionvagrant Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Could Flitcroft and co be being lined up as the backroom team ? Nice thought process
