Well it was implied that Rovers would need to show him some 'love' and quickly if it was to stand any chance. I guess Dunny and Black are doing just that with the TV piece.

I know it's daft to let yourself get excited about such pipe dreams. But it would be bloody good wouldn't it.......

Arry, the man to unite the fan base. Who'd have thought it.

Difficult not to get excited but let's face it he is probably using this PR to get other clubs interested closer to home.

They certainly seem to have gone to a lot of effort if it is a non story. Interviews with Eric Black and Dunny about it and everything!

To be fair, Black was asked the question in a press conference, he wasn't interviewed especially and Dunn was just a phone call, they haven't put THAT much effort in, but the fact the question's being asked is positive.

Can't think of a more disasterous situation financially than not being promoted and having 'Arry as manager.

There's no way he's coming anyway. He'll wait it out for qpr or Southampton or something

If we got someone like Redknapp at least it would show Mrs D that a decent manager is crucial to success and there would be none of this reinventing the wheel rubbish, appointing coaches.

Thing is if they told Balaji that Redknapp was interested, he'd be running round their now with a bucket of chicken and a Rovers shirt for the photo shoot.
