I've heard that Olly could be signing today, but I'm sure it's just rumours based on chatter here and Blackpool forums. Wouldn't surprise me if it originated from Ralfinho last night. Shebby's SkySports appearance last night suggests it's just gossip.

For the record if Holloway does come it wont give Ralfinho the right to pull the 'told you so' card...in my book its a 3 horse race, so if i pick one doesnt mean i had any inside info...educated guessing is my take on it

For Ralfinho to come out so strongly, he must have been given what he thought was very good information.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine who supports Blackpool and has some decent contacts there, told me yesterday that he expects Holloway to join Rovers and he is not the only one with that view over there!

The Shebby 'issue' is also very interesting. I think that it will emerge that he is not quite as powerful as perhaps he was just a week ago and I don't think he is calling all the shots on the appointment now. For Shebby, I think that the McKinlay farce might prove to be his Waterloo and it would not surprise if he is not gone by Christmas.

It was from a lawyer don't you know?

all the more reason not to believe it. No lawyer privy to sensitive info would blab about that kind of thing if he/she thought it would end up somewhere like this. I bet we've all got a few stories (I've got a Kean one) that you only share with those who you don't think will broadcast it far and wide.

Your friends ITK also told us that OGS was a done deal.

The problem with Venkys and shebby is that all those ITK where probably right...but one from shebby, one from balaji, one from shaw and then each of them changes their minds ten times a day.

Why anyone would bet anything they can't afford from information while these people are in charge is beyond me.

We've all got a Kean one I reckon, he was notorious. Got plenty of Rovers stories over the years, some brilliant ones but I couldn't post on here. I'd literally get lynched.

mine's actually funny though.

Oh don't get me wrong I've got a hilarious one too, and an even better one about one of his mates which beggars belief. Big salaries small brains.

I think everyone's got a Rovers story that they are afraid to tell in case the men in black come along, beat them up and wipe their minds.

My prediction is that Eric Black will continue as manager until the end of the season and will then be appointed long term. I think this was arranged s while ago and in a week or two shebby will come out and say something along the lines of 'we have looked at a number if options, of which some were rejected by the fans I.e. McKinlay and Sherwood, and we have decided that Eric us the man to take us forward and will look after the team until the end of the season. He will probably say that other option wren't right to take the club forward or approaches were rejected by the managers clubs I.e. Holloway.

Hope I am wrong but have felt thus since #?!/ left.

I hope you're wrong but could possibly explain why Black has been ringing Tony Pulis to enquire about taking Cameron Jerome on loan...

Bringing you the Blackpool Gazette reporter's tweets since 2012:

William Watt@WillWatt

Tomorrow's Daily Mirror reports Palace and Blackburn are battling for Ian Holloway. I'm talking to him tomorrow, will wait for facts.

So should be up on the Gazette site later today. Holloway will no doubt stonewall the rumours.

Is he a Blackpool fan by any chance???

Redknapp,Holloway just can't see it,think it will between Robinson,Grayson and Billy Davies, not sure of the relationship with Davies and Shaw from Preston days, but not in work no compo or asking permission,Grayson would cause a few ripples a Huddersfield can't see us getting permission,he would have to force the issue,Robinson think we could get him without too much problem, and I have said all along that Robinson will end up manager, think he could do a job as well.
