I think the interviewer went out of his way to make us/them look silly, ultimately meaning we didn't get to hear anything other than 'it wasn't me', but that's probably a good thing in the long run

I thought he played a lot of awkward question with a straight bat to be honest. I half expected him to dismiss loads of candidates and say sacking Allardyce was the right thing to do. He said and gave away very little but made less of a prat of himself than I thought he could.

Shebby wasn't here when the decisions were made to sack Allardyce, sell Jones/Samba etc, so I imagine it's difficult to him to answer those questions. He seems completely ignorant of the extent of the idiocy that has come out of our owners mouths in the past.
