watford-rover Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 he picked up the ball and kaz took it off him! he should be getting a serious bolloking after the game
Martin Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 We're the only game in The Championship without a goal. Rhodes should be more assertive when demanding the ball for the pen. CKR slipped when he made contact with the ball (according to Radio Rovers).
broadsword Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Looking good for Cardiff, forest and Palace. Wrong weekend to chuck 2 points away methinks.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Looking good for Cardiff, forest and Palace. Wrong weekend to chuck 2 points away methinks. Leeds lost, Leicester lost, H'field lost and the Brighton/Blackpool game was a draw. Not all bad.
herbergeehh Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 You still need to win home games to reach promotion. Just not getting the points.
G Somerset Rover Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 WTF was Kazim doing taking the penalty, the jumped up idiot. Rhodes should be having those all day long. Cost us 2 points. Maybe not! Haha
Dunnfc Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Kean you kazim kean back of to turkey you useless kean
OJRovers Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Murphy boo-ed on for Lowe. Regardless of whether Rhodes should've taken it, we shouldn't be replying on a penalty to beat Watford
Devon Rover Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Jordan Rhodes might just be the player who makes us a possible for promotion whoever our manager is. Real quality striker. Please take penalties in future, Jordan, eh?!
Backroom DE. Posted October 27, 2012 Backroom Posted October 27, 2012 Ah, the man dubbed 'the next Grabbi' by half of BRFCS does it again. Black to be named permanent manager tomorrow?
G Somerset Rover Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Black to be named permanent manager tomorrow? By Wednesday I reckon. Surely nobody can doubt Rhodes' finishing ability. It's just about working out how we can get the best out of him. Priority one for whoever the new man is.
ada2020 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Ah, the man dubbed 'the next Grabbi' by half of BRFCS does it again. Black to be named permanent manager tomorrow? Has to be said he's doing a steady job and at least we don't concede 3 goals per game.
Hekla Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Rhodes is outstanding, great to win again this week!! Good platform for the new manager that we are right up there.
T4E Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Really wonder why an £8m striker, who has a history of taking penalties, isn't automatically chosen to take the penalties. More to the point, why is an £8m striker, who has a history of taking penalties, allowing a journeyman winger to bully him off the penalty? The lad clearly needs to have a bit more about him personally, he's the main man and should act like it. Imagine someone trying to do that to Shearer. That said, he came through for us again. But he needs to puff his chest out and start acting like the star player that we need him to be.
neophox Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 QPR lost again, if Hughes get the sack, should we go for him. I believe Shebby likes Hughes...maybe he waits for him to get sacked? Good win, but why did Kaz take the spot kick? Should be Rhodes ! Well 3p and a win. Only impressed with our defensive play though.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Got to say its nice to be keeping clean sheets for once. Take two back to back wins. We're on track again. Why are people booing Murphy by the way?
herbergeehh Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Having watched Crystal Palace, and more importantly, Zaha, last Saturday, I think there's every reason to fear a hammering next Sat. Bradley Orr v Zaha one-on-one for 90 minutes, he'll have a field day. Delighted with the win, now we need to get a manager in asap. January window here we come.
rovers11 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Kazim you lucky boy. Thought we'd thrown away 2 points. Rhodes is just class - needs a physical partner up there with him though. Sounded like we battered them but struggled to break them down.

"Stealing" a penalty is still an idiotic thing to do, but I can see why Rhodes didn't make a bigger fuss about it.
