Eddie Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 They've had some slight issues because UEFA became a bit interested in the idea of one group owning several clubs across Europe and I believe it rather put them off the idea of investing any further for the time being.

They've certainly spent money, albeit probably not particularly well. The test is to see if they stay interested in the long-run and if they keep investing when the novelty wears off. At the moment they are riding a wave on the back of their great league form and their good Champions League performances, but I think Europe will be a harder nut to crack than they expect.
