BuckyRover Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 The Palace fans I was sat near the other day were of the opinion that we have the best squad in the league by far and that we were only relegated because he had an inept manager in charge.
Backroom Tom Posted November 6, 2012 Backroom Posted November 6, 2012 Fair play to murphy for having the character to want that knowing the abuse he'd get if he missed Shows that Rhodes probably wasn't the designated taker against Watford
hesfromburn Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Lol murphys first useful contribution? Finally!
Stand & Deliver Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Murphy is god Rovers are the best team in the universe I love Venkys
Clitherover Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I don't think anyone will run away with it this year.....but Cardiff are going up, they've always been my favourite for automatic promotion, besides us if we were to get a new manager. I think you're probably right Salgado, looking at the table it's so bloody tight, could stay that way for a while.
briansol Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Glad he scored, Murphy always seemed to be composed with penalties, I remember one for Liverpool at Old Trafford, but please let someone who has scored 6 million goals in 3 seasons take penalties... Was glad when I heard on the radio that Murphy would take it. He was regular pen taker for Fulham and I was afraid the pressure on Rhodes would be a bit much.
hesfromburn Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Hope we can see this game out under Berg unlike Kean!!
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Lets hope we dont keaning sit back now like we did under that clown. Agreed... That will be a decent indicator as to how much has changed tactics wise since 'he' left.
diziet2 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Town are going a little bit more direct, Big Alan lee up front with Novak and Danny Ward down the wing. Should get a bit tasty now.
OsloRover Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 We are pushing on, no sitting back this time. Refreshing. It's also great to have a manager who is actually shouting at everybody and his dog instead of just standing there stupidly the whole match like certain others. Murphy is probably our no 1 penalty taker by the way, so not very surprising that he took it.
Stand & Deliver Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Now how are those nasty dingles getting on? Sorry for lowering the tone.
True Blue & White Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Not living in Lancashire I can't listen to it, so left with following it here... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20134266 From the stats it looks like we're much the better team, anyone wanna give a quick summary for those getting match commentary?
Clitherover Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Now how are those nasty dingles getting on? Sorry for lowering the tone. 0-0
chaddyrovers Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Rovers fans are signing Henning Berg's Blue and White army. Then HB applauded them for that.

Good if its one thing some of our players need it's motivation, just had none from the sidelines for 2 years!

Stand & Deliver Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 0-0 5 points of daylight at the moment then. TFFT!
Lie_still_Rover Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Rochinas comfortably our best player.. Crazy how he only got about 17 games in two seasons under Kean..
alexanders Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Need a sub now. Huddersfield are bigging up pressure.
