Amo Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Peterborough away. Huddersfield away. Burnley away. Both solid at the back and attacking. Not really, since we dropped four points in two of those games thanks to last minute equalizers.

LeChuck Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I disagree about all the dropped points not meaning anything. It would mean something if we were doing it significantly more than other teams, but as a standalone statistic it means very little. The outcome of the results swings throughout ninety minutes. That is just football. I don't think we're worse than any other club for dropping points from winning positions.
Batman. Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Has it not occurred to anyone that the drop in performance since Keano left is probably down to low Vitamin D levels in the squad?
John Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Not having the positive influence of Kean on the training ground must be difficult for the players. Really hope he is a pundit on Sky this evening - deserves to be back in the game in some capacity.

Really hope he is a pundit on Sky this evening - deserves to be back in the game in some capacity. It's all set for Kean to be pundit and for Rochina to win the game with a 30 yard piledriver. Sky will then spend the entire post-match gushing over Keano's scouting abilities. He did find us Phil Jones, y'know.

tugayislegend Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Sorry, a bit off the topic but just wanted to mention did anybody watch West Ham Vs Chelsea last week? Mohammed Diame was man of the match and helped West Ham win against all odds. My point is he is a defensive Midfielder and the way he played, breaking play up, flying in with tackles, chasing defenders down is what Etuhu and Lowe should be doing, but neither i feel are capable of this. He was absolutely awesome, he used to play for wigan last year. Wigan seem to find great players on a low budget, there are players out there, its a case of finding them! We have not had a good aggressive defensive midfielder at the club since jermaine jones left. We have lost the midfield battle in SO MANY games! Is Berg to blame for this, i think not. As has been mentioned many times he inherited a very unbalanced side.
CapeTownRover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Henning Berg has my full support, no matter what happens this season
sw0808 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Henning Berg has my full support, no matter what happens this season And mine! This team/squad was put together by morons and crooks! Berg seems to have the club at heart and that at least means he is trying to do the right things! Look at where we were 12 months ago
Majiball Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Henning Berg has my full support, no matter what happens this season Even if we slip into league one???
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 Has it not occurred to anyone that the drop in performance since Keano left is probably down to low Vitamin D levels in the squad? Any idea what the dew to grass ratio is? Have heard that can have a massive effect on performances as well.
CapeTownRover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Majiball, well i dont think Berg will be around if we slip into league 1. However, we are not there, so he will get my support and hopefully he can put things right. Imo, certain people are still bitter that he got the job ahead of the likes of Redknapp and Holloway. anyway, all the best to Berg and the team tonight
Adam C Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Henning Berg has my full support, no matter what happens this season Any idea what the dew to grass ratio is? Have heard that can have a massive effect on performances as well. My two favourite posts today. Getting tonights match on the telly and God I hope that Kean is on as a pundit just for the hell of it.
Mr. E Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Berg out. No more. Out of this club. BRING BACK HUGHES NOW.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Getting worried about him now. Poor team, poorer tactics and selection.
Waggy76 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 BRING BACK HUGHES NOW. Highly doubt , he would except , that is why we got Henning Berg , cos no one else would do the job !
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2012 Backroom Posted December 7, 2012 We needed a stronger manager to deal with the dross that infests the squad. Berg just doesn't have the authority or tactical nous to make the changes required, that is becoming obvious. The only hope is that he's given free reign to completely dismantle the team come January and bring in his own team. I highly doubt that will happen, though. I don't think we'll be seeing Berg in the dugout this time next year.
neophox Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Its not looking good with Berg, It's sad as we all wanted Kean out and we got a Kean carbon copy, honest but looks like its worse......I really don't know what to do?? But if Berg is not the answer we should act fast and not wait a la Venkys, but who wants the job?
roverandout Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 cant blame him for taking the job as was with kean but he should never have got it in the first place
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I will be very surprised if he's still in the job come January. I still maintain this belief that the squad and in particular the dross we have brought in over the last 2 years is the main problem we have right now. Managers live or die by their results and Berg is clearly only going one way right now.
roverandout Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 i hope four-eyes has the balls to do what is neccessary but i doubt it, next time lets hope shaw gets his way
Rover_Shaun Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Is the honeymoon over? Can we now lay into Berg without being rounded on by the BRFCS 'big I am' brigade? EDIT: Forgot that we trained well LOL
Howler Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I always said I would give Berg time, however I am very worried now. My main concern is his team selections. A midfield containing Lowe, Etuhu and Marcus Olsson is unbalanced and atrocious in anyone's book, and we have Vukcevic and MGP on the bench. In terms of quality, Givet not playing is also a complete mystery. I didn't think we played well under Black but he made us tough to beat and we were more organised. We're just a shambles now
