Mercer Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 looks like Singh is in charge and Hennings sold his soul ...Singh and Henning talk tactics read between the lines singh is in charge not Berg... The sooner these clowns leave and Rovers start again the better cos anyone dreaming of going back up this season or next under these fools is really dreaming.... Anyone else reckon a 24 hour protest against the owners like last year should be back on the cards ??? +1 Best way to protest is to keep voting with your feet. A near empty stadium will speak volumes.

USABlue Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Nice of you to own up to that. I've said all along that N'Zonzi is a country mile better than the pair of them put together. Etohu appears to have the mentality attributed most famously with Didier Deschamps (and now Balotelli) whilst Murphy is not so much a 'has been' as a 'never has been'. Makes me weep to see what Kean and his evil chum did to our club simply to further their own self interest and line their own pockets. I hope I live long enough to spit on their graves. Am I the only one to rem that a late appearence by that particular gentleman cost us two points against the dingles? Oh silly me here I was thinking it was because the defence went AWOL for the cross, seems to the ref tried to play advantage but since the dingles didn't score he had em try again. Surely even a challenge goes in the dingle doesn't score. But you are right let's not play him he gave a free kick away.
JAL Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The Mail is now reporting exactly what Andy Cryer did this morning. Singh is forcing Berg to change his backroom staff. Who is the real manager here? From that it looks like Berg is a yes man.

tomphil Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 +1 Best way to protest is to keep voting with your feet. A near empty stadium will speak volumes. They don't even seem bothered about the crowds. If Singhs "well you know we can't make them come back" type comments last night. They should be begging people to come back. They seriously seem to think a run of good results will see the gates shoot up but i doubt it.

I think Singh expected Berg to be greeted with adulation and this was one of his delusions for appointing an ex player. He made several barbed digs at stayaway fans during the programme,in addition to the claptrap about us not welcoming ex players back.

He made several barbed digs at stayaway fans during the programme,in addition to the claptrap about us not welcoming ex players back. They always fail to grasp the point or just plain ignore it. Surely plenty of people have said to him we didn't want Mckinley etc because of the inexperience factor not because we didn't like them as former players. Berg got a great welcome back, not a huge turnout out but the fans were totally behind him, most still are so i don't know why the clown should use that as a dig. Until people at the club and Venkys actually start taking some responsibiltiy for the mess they continue to create we will get nowhere
JAL Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Did anybody ask why is there no entertainment at Ewood Park these days something that they promised but have failed to deliver on. How many losses is it now out of the past twenty home games at Ewood.
Athlete Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Singh insists financial position is healthy at Rovers http://www.lancashir...lthy_at_Rovers/ looks like more spin from shabby...the club will never be healthy till SS and his employers Venkys have left.....in the words of Malcolm McClaren '' ever get the feeling you've been cheated '' The great football club swindle

I don't. I think we will be struggling in the same way as Pompey. Any prestige for a rich benefactor/investment group (who isn't a fan) disappeared when we were relegated from the PL. My hopes are pinned on the "Two Ians" working with the Trust. But even that is heart ruling head.
AndyC Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Was never gonna be any different. Its the very reason Berg got the job as opposed to someone like Holloway. Those optimistically claiming he wouldn't take ****, is a strong character, would stand up to them because of his love for Rovers etc, simply weren't living in the real world. You give someone a massive promotion, you own them. Thats how business works. Well I just don't buy it. I'm sure shabby does discuss tactics with Henning because he loves doing so. But I don't believe for a minute that he tells berg who to pick/ not to pick. I know we got used to having mr zero integrity steve Kean at the helm, but from the people I've talked to within the game that know him, they have all said that he's not the type if character to be dictated too. Time will tell who's right I guess!
thenodrog Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The problem with the protests is nobody is listening anymore. When we were a prem club we got coverage, but there won't be much if any coverage for a protest at a Championship club and with attendances already in the gutter I doubt the owners will bat an eyelid to another protest. When we were a Prem club we had 40 odd million a year coming in..... now we are dependent on 10,000 only paying 10 quid or so a match once a fortnight I suggest that we need to proceed with great caution.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 If Shabby or anyone from Venkys told me today was Thursday I'd go and look at the nearest newspaper just to be sure !
USABlue Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The Mail is now reporting exactly what Andy Cryer did this morning. Singh is forcing Berg to change his backroom staff. Who is the real manager here? If that is the case then Berg should walk away now. Clearly shebby has assumed a DoF position since when does a manager get told who to work with. Starts to lend a little creedence to my suspicion that Shebby is picking the team too. Perhaps, or more likely in fact, these are the things that will turn me against Henning Berg, I genuinely belived he would be here as his own man if he is not then he's here for a paypacket alone. You can put aside all this Rovers through and through stuff if this is what's going on.

But even that is heart ruling head. My hopes as well but as Phil pointed out depending on how venkys exit the club will have a major bearing on how we stand....if admin is an option at least the fans may have a chance As it stands under venkys we are a slow sinking titanic
USABlue Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The picture that sticks in my mind most is the one of Shebby in the tracksuit with SS embroided on. DELUSIONAL TW@T!! He is the real problem - Berg is just another nodding Dog. As I have already indicated, if this is for real then I'm mad as a wet hen. This needs to be outed we need the truth about what is really going on. THIS is why we could not get an experienced manager, the plonker wanted to do it himself with a figure head to take the heat when it went tits up.
sam_rovers Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 It's becoming more and more obvious that he was brought in cause he is and was willing to be Shebbys lap dog... Our owners are morons who are running us into the ground.. I really fear for the long term future of the club
John Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 It is a key question - how much influence does Shebby actually have? Important because he is regarded as a complete joke with no previous track record - can only have a negative effect IF he is involved on the football side of things IMO. Difficult to take the man seriously too - fair enough, given his 'position', he can provide input but I would hate to think he gets too involved down at Brockhall etc.

Ossydave Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 That photo just looks like something out of a comedy sketch show it's so ridiculous.
RoyRover Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 What possible reason could Shebby have for wearing a tracksuit top? Is he doing some work on the training ground? He is an ex-professional footballer after all.
Kelbo Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 What possible reason could Shebby have for wearing a tracksuit top? Is he doing some work on the training ground? He is an ex-professional footballer after all. He's on an ego trip, never good enough as a player and playing the big man, a clown of the highest order and typical Venky idea, they would have been much better buying Billy Smarts Big top!!
Ossydave Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 If R4G hadn't been hounded off here by idiots for his leaked tactics maybe he could tell us if Shebby gets involved in training
