chaddyrovers
Mark Hughes has just made an almighty mess of QPR, no thanks. I agree. His has lost his good man management skills he had a Rovers. he also has a big ego now which he had. Failed at City and QPR(massively) and did ok at Fulham. but walk out on Fulham cos he thought he would get a bigger club which he didnt.

jim mk2
Hughes did a fine job for us at the time but is now damaged goods. We might need a replacement for Berg soon but Hughes is not the man. To be honest, the best move Venkys could make would be to admit they made a mistake and re-hire a certain adminstrator now working for Manchester City. The club needs a shake-up from the boardroom down and, assuming Venky's are going to be our owners for some time, they need to start at the top. Then I'd drive back and pick up all his tafia crew. But if there was a chance of John Williams coming back I'd walk over hot coals on the way to the car. OJRovers
I don't want Berg to leave I think it would be far more productive if shebby, Agnew, Shaw were cleared out. If berg goes it would only be him taking the blame to save shebby etc Berg has the club at heart, and needs a proper chance not working under a bunch of jokers. jim mk2
I don't buy into this damaged goods idea - it just never worked out for him thereWas BFS damaged goods from when he was sacked at Newcastle ? Sam was sacked from Newcastle when the club was in mid-table; it made no sense at the time and they were soon relegated, so you could say he came out of it with his reputation enhanced! Hughes spent a fortune at City and was sacked, walked away from Fulham after a year in mysterious circumstances and missed out on a few top jobs before being hired by QPR, spending another shedload of money and leaving them bottom of the table. It could well be that he operates better with little money to spend and he might see Rovers as a chance to rebuild his career and reputation but for the present he is "damaged goods". Amo
It almost makes me laugh when people say "This person needs to be targeted" or "Blame needs to be put on...." As I have said all along...Venkys are a cancer to this club. If they get rid of Shebby, they will just replace him with another idiot...or more likely with an empty chair...which would be favourable actually. I hate to be 'Debbie Downer' but until Venkys leave, we will not be Blackburn Rovers...as we know it...again. /thread

USABlue
Me too, if Henning resigns and speaks the truth he will have done more to help us than he could potentially as managerShebby needs to be targeted if any of this is true And adds a little weight to Steve Keans constructive dismissal case.
