am I the only one here who thinks
  • Rovers most decorated player (post war)
  • a player who's won almost everything
  • studied under some of the best managers
  • knows how to get out of this league
  • Has had experience dealing with crappy owners

that berg should be given sometime to get his own team together ?

None of those factors should have any bearing on how much time we give Berg, so really I disagree with the principle of this post. What's far more relevant is that he's been a failure as a manager up until this point. Had we appointed someone with a decent track record, then I'd think that would be a factor in giving him more time than usual.

I don't think he should be sacked immediately, but if after five or six games he is still producing the same results I think we should think about getting rid.

Even without his own team, the results really shouldn't be this bad.

If Kean had been sacked after 9games , I suspect we would still be a premier club ....

If Berg is sacked , it stinks cos kean should have been but wasn,t !

No doubt Singh , will spin it as we are learning from their mistakes !

I'm sorry but the owners of our beloved football club have not made a single footballing decision that made sense since taking over - we would have ended up where we are eventually anyway. Venky's have made a lot of wrong decisions, and a lot of decisions they haven't made at all - the worst decision they've made was purchasing a football club without having a clue on how to run it. The second was sacking Big Sam. Poorly advised by J. Anderson, now Shebby Singh.

I know I was frustrated by the lack of spending and ambition under the trust towards the end, but how I do miss John Williams, Big Sam and a team where people were pulling in the same direction.

Berg or not, we're headed down.

When the DJ decided to play some games, one of the club’s executives volunteered Berg to go up on stage. The 43-year-old Norwegian reluctantly wore the Christmas stocking but grew visibly angry and uncomfortable when he was made to dance as well.

The final straw came when someone attempted to put a Michael Jackson wig on his head. Berg ripped off the stocking and left the stage. He then made his excuses to guests at his table before making an early exit. Berg... is understood to have become increasingly disillusioned with the job he has taken on.

Hmmm. Strange stuff. Agnew or Shebby put him on stage? Sounds another layer of farce but it seems he's going to be off.

Liked Berg a lot as a player. As a manager? No chance for the poor bloke at this club. Got mixed feelings. Jump lad. The club's in freefall. I'll be back when Shebby and his dancing bears showboat out and poor little Venkat rings his little fingers and finally blames big sis. Poor little rich interfering no(know)-it-alls. And who suffers and divides? RIP.

He's got a stock-ing on his head, he's got a stock-ing on his head, he's got a stock-ing on his head, he's got a stocking on his head.

Obviously the sign of a man under pressure and on the brink when you are even too precious to enjoy yourself and have a laugh

sometimes i wish the club would get relegated again, in the hope that Venkys finally @#/? off into the distance. I know that is a very strong and naughty statement to make, as i only want the best for the club. However, if this club needs rebuilding, and it means dropping down to do so, but with Venkys gone, then i suppose why not.

You just cant make up this stuff, its like a comedy showcase at times, mixed with some horror and a few suspense moments. Man this sucks big time!

I think its make or break this week. Henning goes or stays, if he stays a new backroom staff will arrive. I think its up to Venkys now to decide quick and fast. It's time that they decide in which direction we should go. Its hurting at the moment. Fair enough, Henning got his chance but it hasn't worked out really. Results that matters in this business.

How does this kind of thing make the papers yet nothing negative was EVER printed about Kean.

Hmmm. I wonder what the common denominator is? Who have we got at the club who might know a bit about PR, have media contacts, and may have reason to be bitter about the recent managerial change? Could be anyone.

Thankfully our fans aren't the type to swallow this sensationalist BS and can see through dirty tricks campaigns.

Oh wait...

think our Coco's friend the one who can't be named had the majority of the reporters and pundits in his back pocket so to speak..if you know what I mean and no certain things are being leaked by Cocos remaining allies...
