How does this kind of thing make the papers yet nothing negative was EVER printed about Kean.

Hmmm. I wonder what the common denominator is? Who have we got at the club who might know a bit about PR, have media contacts, and may have reason to be bitter about the recent managerial change? Could be anyone.

Thankfully our fans aren't the type to swallow this sensationalist BS and can see through dirty tricks campaigns.

Oh wait...

Exactly.

We all know that the Venkys are THE big problem but this is where the cleansing must start. PNE Agnew has to be exposed and removed ASAP.

sometimes i wish the club would get relegated again, in the hope that Venkys finally @#/? off into the distance. I know that is a very strong and naughty statement to make, as i only want the best for the club. However, if this club needs rebuilding, and it means dropping down to do so, but with Venkys gone, then i suppose why not.

You just cant make up this stuff, its like a comedy showcase at times, mixed with some horror and a few suspense moments. Man this sucks big time!

you may be right if it gets rid of Venkys so be it I'd take league one and TBH I actually think gates would pick up as soon as these clowns leave even if we are in league one...cos lets face it there'll be no publicity left for em there..but the frightening thing is the financial issue it will take years for Rovers to go on the road to recoverery to undo what these idiots and chancers have achieved in 2 years !

Athlete, the thing is, im sure the fans will do everything to help the club to steady the financial aspect. Right now however, the fans are voting with their feet, the manager is having his moments, and we have a global idiot hell bent on trying to derail things, along with his madam and the rest of the them. How long can this continue, before something really explodes, because lets face it, its not difficult to beat the happenings of the last 2 years. We have to admit that we are in freefall, and accept that unless something positive happens, either by results picking up, or Venkys leaving, we will struggle to see any form of daylight.

It does make you wonder what certain people have to do to be relieved of their position under the Venky's regime, obviously being crap at your job isn't enough. For instance the rumour why our previous "manager" resigned instead of being sacked was that he knew too much being in on the takeover from the start, could the same reason apply to the "a club source" "a spokesman for the club" ? after all don't think its been clarified who met who and when pre and during the takeover, even in this new age of transparency .!.

Pretty obvious there are certain parties within the set up that want Singh as far away from the club as possible so he can't go reporting back to India, the direct line to India is important as any old @#/? can be fed back that everything is rosey as seen during the last "managers " reign. The latest round of stories trying to undermine Berg to get at Shebby is part of that game. Yes I know Shebby doesn't need any help putting his foot in it.

This obviously started in full flow with the Rhodes deal when Mr Shelvey and Kean appeared in the signing photo, when it was obvious team Kean were after Cox, yet appeared to be pushing themselves forward as the driving force behind the Rhodes deal, a bit of PR manipulation by somebody?..

The fact that Berg faces an uphill task after two years of deliberate destruction of the playing squad and the club for whatever reason's, obviously doesn't matter to some who are more interested in keeping their little empire in tact rather than resurrecting the club.

Would be a real odd scenario for anybody who are lifelong Rovers supporter's trying to kean up the club for their own or somebody else's agenda wouldn't it ?

Getting behind Berg is not a show of support for Singh, it's a show of support for our club, but in supporting Berg you are perhaps putting a stop to the agenda being played out by people putting their own interests before that of BRFC. Still I look forward to the "Shebby Singh ate my hamster whilst dressed in a Burnley Kit" headline that will no doubt appear when the Agenda is getting desperate

Rovers to tell Old Boys that Formica is not for sale<br />

So from that article, we can expect to see Rosado and Henrique starting over the next few games. Shebby won't want to look like a fool by signing two duffers.

If Rovers could get £3.5m for Formica then IMO we should sell him.

Also, sell these Portugeezers if they are not good enough. This, should provide a little war chest for the manager to bring in some more 'suitable' players for this league.

£3.5m for Formica? Snap their hands off! We could get 1-2 decent, seasoned championship pros for that

The Daily Mail story stinks of internal politics to me. A certain exec trying to get rid of Shabby or vice versa, with my money on the former.

Discredit Shabby in the press, say he is the cause of the problems, and get control of the club back in his hands by getting rid of Shabby.

Now I'm most definitely not a Shabby fan but I also don't want that particular exec holding the reins on his own and getting things through like what happened when KeanOut was here. Either outcome does nothing for my confidence in the running of the club, and neither does status quo.

These next few months are huge. I'm willing to forgo promotion this season if the management of the club can be restored to some tyoe of normality which means we can concentrate on football. I think everything else is holding the club back and any manager would struggle to raise the players levels significantly after the past two years of ineptitude from the management and coaching staff.

I fear getting us back in the Premier League this season, by luck more than anything, could be more damaging than taking time to sort the mess out and going again. More money floating round would attract the parasites and ensure the circus continues, if we stay where we are maybe they will bugger of to another club, not that I would wish any of this lot on any other club.

I think the Daily Mail story is a load of tosh. A girl who was at the Rovers Xmas do was tweeting about it yesterday. She said Berg was busting some cracking moves with the MJ wig on and that everyone was loving it and it made every ones night.

Funny how at Blackpool we saw the first signs of fans unrest under Bergs tenure and now someone is trying to get

stories making Berg look like a pillock in the press.

Too many snakes behind the scenes at Ewood and until we sort the off-field issues sadly the on-field side of it is going to suffer

Much as I dislike / distrust Agnew & Shaw it's clear the Singh / Berg ticket is in tatters and it appears the former smell blood.

How can a football club succeed with all this going on behind the scenes?

Andy Cryer today reporting that Singh wants the Portuguese players to stay ( not that he's interfering in any way ).

No faith in any of them.

Onwards and downwards.

First time I've actually seen cryer saying that Singh signed these players.

Critical stories of Kean in the national press and the Daily Telegraph and Guardian in particular must have a mirage.

I would imagine that if there has been a leak there will be an investigation going on at Ewood right now. The atmosphere behind the scenes down there must be awful. Also, why was Berg making a fool of himself by joining in childish games - he's supposed to be the manager and a figure of authority.

They all need to go...Agnew Shaw and singh all as bad as one another but would venkys employ better....doubt it

Exactly, you get rid of those fools and they'll not have the brains to employ anyone better.

Its a vicious circle, we need Venkys out of the club next, we all know that.

Who else could have signed them Den? Sure Singh already said as much himself along with the previous manager who said he had never seen them play.

I said it's the first time I've seen Cryer put it in print, John.

TBH, I was the first to say - during Keans first season - that he hadn't signed any of the players that rovers brought in. In the entire reign of that Lying, stirring, drunken, back stabbing excuse of a football person*, he didn't at any time stand up for himself and insist on having the final say in signings. It was all part of the "what we're trying to do here" plan, disguised as selling anyone any good and replacing with absolutely anyone else who people could make money out of.

* notice I didn't say "man".
