That;'s the thing. I can't see who'd be as desperate as Berg to work in such a madhouse. It's been shown up again under Berg as a complete asylum. I quote Hughes as a potential example but it'd be the same with any decent manager - why would they. Think venkeys lost a lot of good will and a potential new leaf with how they've botched and undermined Berg's reign.

Eh? What good will did they have to lose?

As for the women stuff my 22 year old size 6 fiancée has just got home from work so ill entertain her now whilst u all post, drink whiskey whilst ur wives are in the other room.

Thank you so so much.

Just when you think this place couldn't get any funnier! I am honestly wiping tears of laughter from face and my stomach hurts from laughing.

Lord knows we all need cheering up.

Priceless. If you really are a real human being and not a genius comedy sketch then hats off my friend. You should be on TV, you would make a classic Vic and Bob sketch.

"Ditch the Global advisor, he's plainly an idiot."

I think that's spot on. I just hope the journo's keep looking our way. They have the voice we seem to have lost. Keep exposing Venkys & Shebby for the absolute sham they are.

The appointment of Berg does not look like its going to work out. I've nothing against him and will never hate him like I did Kean. Trying to do a job with the joker Shebby on your shoulder, would be hard for anyone to pull off.

He stated the club means everything when he joined. I hope he has the self respect to stand up against any interference. If all team decisions are his - it's plainly not going to plan. Time for a major shake up of back room staff and non performing players. Henning has to state - all team decisions are his.

Actually Samuel is too right. Except that we were not calling out for Berg. It is a bit like Shearer managing Newcastle, except for Berg's level-headed sobriety. That he did not come close to getting Bury job is significant. Berg was not one of the best young managers on the market: Freedman and OGS were. Possibly Sherwood. I still like Berg. We need to give him a chance for some time more yet. It is the Venkys and now Singh who are at fault for bringing us from the 13th top club in England over past I guess 25 years to 35th, which is where we are now. If we were a firm the top management would at this point all be gone.

As TheNonda has already stated (he was present) This was not said at all,

More Fabrication from Nixon, although I have read the Blog in question which is the source of this information

“A manager is available now who wasn’t at the time of Henning’s appointment and we have looked at him,” said Shebby Singh

I look forward to the retraction of the above quote by The Mirror in that case - in the interests of clarity and to show full support of the manager who the Board of Directors saw fit to appoint just 54 days ago.

Bugger me Bob!! We've got a board of directors?!! I thought poor old Henning must've won a raffle and the Rovers managers position was the last thing left on the prize table after the Black Magic chocolates and cheap Romanian wine had all be claimed first.

Proper mad Friday that!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

What's it like having a girlfriend who's age is higher than your IQ? Seriously Lee, you really are a stereotypical club going thick as the proverbial DJ. Carry on responding, this is absolute gold.

nothing but reporting what lord shebby has said. doesnt say berg is getting sack does it?????????

When is everyone going to realise that Nixon is nothing more than a kean stirrer these days when it comes to Rovers ? Pointed in that direction by certain people. Any coincidence that he pitches up on radio lancs the other night ? Ask him personally about Coyle, Kean or wee Doogie, who most Bolton i know don't rate, and see what answers you get.

Just remember before you put money on Hughes being appointed that Ralfs mate drew up the holloway contract and it was a done deal.

Holloway was offered two if not three contracts. Given the legal stuff flying around this morning, I'll leave it at that.

Not the feedback I'm getting from folk I know who support Bolton.

Wee Dougie is the dog's b o l l o c k s and destined for big things.

We could have had him, was on one of the lists to succeeed Kean - another huge own goal.

Why on earth are we at the half way point and the team is so far from being complete, yet we have nearly forty players to choose from.

Because kean was buying, shebby was buying and neither were talking to each other. In short a complete lack of transfer policy!!!!!

That doesn't mean he was even remotely close to getting the job. I'm fairly certain your good self might have made one of the lists Merce. The appointment of Berg was just another example of how utterly clueless the club is nowadays. I honestly wonder if he got the job because it was the least complicated option. Nobody has any idea how to go about running a football club. Imagine the chaos if Spurs had welcomed our approach for Sherwood. I genuinely believe we would have pulled the plug on the deal because the half-wits posing as executives wouldn't have had the first clue what to do next. I can just imagine Shaw, Aggers or Sebby asking Daniel Levy what to do next.

Yes maybe i should have said underwhelmed by his appointment. The numerous notloBs i know are certainly behind him but there is a sense they seem to expect him to fail sooner or later. Just the people i know obviously i can't speak for their general fanbase, it would be interesting to know.

Well I have news for you.

Steve Kean was in the North West of England last night and stayed overnight in a hotel.

Now bearing in mind what Ralfinho has been saying and what Philipl has been speculating on, you don't posssibly think that.....................................!!!
