Lurid Coat Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Dreamt that we took the lead after just a minute, from a volley from 50 yards by new signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink
Plastics Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I don't think Berg needs a particular song as such, outside of Henning Berg's blue and white army. So certainly no chanting of Berg is the word, please.
tonyoz Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Why would you mess so severely with a team that has put in 2 good performances? You could easily make that into a 4-4-1-1 that seems to suit us. Robinson; Henley, Dann, Hanley, Givet; Formica, Murphy, Lowe, Olsson; Rochina; Rhodes Wot? No Simon?
Plastics Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Wot? No Simon? I think he was just adapting somebody elses team choice into a better formation.
tonyoz Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I think he was just adapting somebody elses team choice into a better formation. Phew!
BuckyRover Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Dreamt that we took the lead after just a minute, from a volley from 50 yards by new signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink I dreamt we won 4-0 and I never dream about us. However it was 0-0 at 70 mins. Dunn hat trick and Nuno Gomes. Worried
aXept Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 If I should choose the team: Robbo Henley, Dann, Hanley, Givet Simon, Murphy, Gamst, Nunes Rochina/Gomes Rhodes Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using Tapatalk 2

Fife Rover Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I have just seen on SSN that our match at Peterborough is on Sky Sports 2 live at 5 pm. Not seen or heard anything to this effect before just now; can anyone confirm this is true/false please?

It would have been quicker to Google search than type that out! http://www.live-footballontv.com/
Backroom Tom Posted November 17, 2012 Backroom Posted November 17, 2012 It's true but kick off is a bit later than that time, not sure if it's 17:15

Ossydave Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Who on earth decides on a 5.20 KO time, its just ridiculous!
tomphil Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 2 . 2 We will race into 2 goal lead then they will get a pen and the gremlins from the Kean era will return with us letting in another late equaliser with the finger of blame on the centre halves again
martonrover Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Who on earth decides on a 5.20 KO time, its just ridiculous! Not disagreeing but this is the normal time on a saturday for a live Championship game on Sky. There's obviously an agreement not to broadcast a live game when other games are going on.
chaddyrovers Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 my team would be:- Robinson; Henley, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Formica, Etuhu, Murphy, Vukcevic; Rochina, Rhodes subs:- Kean, Givet, Lowe, Pedersen, Nunes, Gomes, CKR. Rovers to win 3 nil.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 --------------------Robinson ------Henley---Dann---Hanley---Givet Vukcevic---Murphy---Etuhu---Real Olsson ---------------------Rochina ---------------------Rhodes
Mercer Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Still feeling confident about today and sticking with my prediction earlier in the week of a 4-1 Rovers' win. Essential we win today for all sorts of reasons, not least the way today's results are going. Just a note of caution, Hull hammering Brum 3-0 @ Brum which might just put our 'honourable draw' last week with Brum into some perspective - we just need to be beating the likes of Hudders, Brum & Posh and can't afford too many more dropped points from winning positions.
Derbyshire Blue Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Excited to be seeing us live on my laptop for the second weekend in succession....Beers while Warming up watchin QPR-Saints ( oh dear) Nervous buzz, that old feeling's crept back... Praying the improvement continues COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!

We can't use other results for perspective......we weren't a good team last season because we beat Arsenal and United....despite what some people told me.....Birmingham have been better away from home as well.....it's also 3-1 now, stranger things have happened. I'm saying all this because it's still very early on and Berg has had about a week's training with the players.....in a few weeks time, then yea, we can't be dropping points against the likes of B'ham and P'boro....then it would start to be worrying. Also think it will be 4-1 to us by the way...put some money on it as well.
broadsword Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Ninth in the table as thing stand, the pressure's on.

Brum have an awful home record and doing better on their travels, think they were beaten 6 - 0 earlier in the season at home!1
