Exiled_Rover Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Didn't think it was possible, but he's worth every penny.

Mr. E Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 doesn't matter if we win 10-0. If anyone is watching today, Peterborough are not a football team, it's like playing against 11 cones really. Kean would win 10-0 here. The disturbing thing is that Berg has not kicked out our own cone players, aka the defenders. Just imagine them playing against Premiership opposition, we would lose every game by a cricket scoreline.
Amo Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 RE: Vukcevic. Think it was self-explanatory that he wouldn't start after what Berg said midweek.

Backroom Tom Posted November 17, 2012 Backroom Posted November 17, 2012 Basically he's playing really well and its great to have options from the bench

I don't have to imagine them playing against Premiership opposition, I've seen them do it countless times. This team is already far more organised under Berg than it ever was under Kean. You can only beat what's put in front of you.

I'd forgotten what it was like to watch a Rovers team with a game plan, trying to retain possession. Fans making loads of noise.
BiggusLaddus Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Mr. E I think you must have quite serious personality disorders if you can't feel happy about being 2-0 up away from home after 20 minutes.
Dunnfc Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Only diffrence between the prem and league two is mentality and fitness. Of which both can be coached.
davulsukur Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Sky are a keaning joke. No chance I can watch this in York with the Man Utd game on at the same time.
Amo Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 What did he say That he was a good option to have from the bench.

Backroom Tom Posted November 17, 2012 Backroom Posted November 17, 2012 That fatty is like those guys you see in five a side games that used to be good and still have a few tricks up their sleeve I don't trust him
Dunnfc Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 You're kidding, right? Not at all sama bolton would agree. So would most fA cup ties.
RoverScot Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 3-0 Rhodes again Great finish to curl the ball near post. His finishing must be the best in the division.
Pinch Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 A goalkeeper shouldn't be beaten at the near post, but few would be able to save that shot by Rhodes. What a natural scorer.
tomphil Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 It was only a matter of time before we tanked someone so we better not faff this up lol Still think we'll concede as defence has looked ropey again at times !
LeChuck Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Best might have to settle for a place on the bench at this rate, brilliant ball by Rochina.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Not at all sama bolton would agree. So would most fA cup ties. The difference in quality between a genuine Premier League standard player and a Championship standard one is mammoth. You just have to take a look at this Rovers side for that. Shebby can spot a player can't he? I think he's comfortably the best finisher we've had since Shearer. McCarthy comes close, but he wasn't quite as clinical.
broadsword Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Csn't see the game at all, but I guess this us what happens when you get rid of an utter clown as manager. I've totally forgotten what it feels like to watch my team play with conviction. I'm still steaming mad at kean, but at least he's gone now and it looks like Berg at least has some sort of clue.
Mercer Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Good stuff !!! Great to see the team enjoying their football again and playing with smiles on their faces. Please stop at 4 and give Posh a consolation - would really make the evening complete !
