It's very strange that the only candidate not to answer all questions asked won the election.

There is no photograph and no information about the victor. Democracy is very strange.

He did not even provide a statement ! I wonder how he will remain accountable whilst in office, presumably he will claim that the election was the accountability test.

Obviously knew he'd win.... It's the old 'pin a red rosette on a pig' truism at work in these parts. The consequences unfortunately are there for all to see when they stroll around most towns in this area. Unfortunately only people my age and older can remember what a fine and prosperous old town Blackburn was in better times.
