PAFELL Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 We need a campaign of education to explain just how awful a manager Taylor is. I think it is just down to rumour about somebody putting a bet down on the wrong person. I hope so anyway.

PAFELL Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Think Tom was joking when he said that pafell. I would not have a clue. So many rumours flying around these days anything plausible.
darrenrover Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 In order to avoid any misunderstandings, on behalf of Darwen Blues, who have arranged away travel for the past 10 years of their own volition, most recently to Peterborough and Barnsley, we wish it be known that we are in no way associated with BRAG.For the avoidance of doubt, we generally depart from either Spinners, Belgrave, Craven Heifer or Black Horse. We know who we are!

We know who we are! We have a group of around 20 or so from Darwen who are with Jeff Fay who has arranged coaches until this season for the Darwen Blues which he represents, if there is 2 groups I do not know, or if they have splintered into 2, Again I do not know. All I do know is what we have been told

sambo Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I like a lot of the people in BRAG but it just worries me how 'normal supporters' can have so much power and influence. There is no doubt that they have Shebby's ear, and it seems that BRAG are portrayed as the 'voice for all supporters'. It seems like they are the ones fed information from Shebby etc, and therefore have leeway over your 'average supporter' in how or whether they distribute this information. I just feel like perhaps they've served their purpose as a group, and worry they've taken all the attention a little bit too seriously. When I read they have a 'press officer' and some form of 'communication officer' (or something like that) it does seem like perhaps it's all got to their head a bit. Moreover, aside from the more prominent members, I never notice BRAG members making themselves known, whether that be on BRFCS, Twitter or social networking. I struggle to believe that any form of influence goes any further than the main committee members, and it doesn't seem like the majority of their members are vetted before key issues are commented on. I may be wide of the mark, but it just seems like BRAG have disproportionate influence over goings on at Rovers, and all because they organised a few protests last year (which I fully supported and attended).
Steve Moss Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Wayne Wild is not only my former employer who I had the pleasure to work for , but someone who employed me in a role of responsibility (I left under my own accord to persue my career elsewhere), I will be forever greatful for the time at spent at WEC. He is also someone I consider a friend who has been helpful to our group, whilst likewise we have with his venture. He is also a respectful member of BRFCAG and a passionate rovers supporter. Friends do not always have to agree on everything or indeed follow the same paths. You should not confuse opinions or questions with motives!! +1 Which I stand by Pafell, you put in the public domain where I worked and started all sorts of conspirocies about why protest were started and who had pulled my strings to start them. This was 100% not true but it did spread to the levels where it made me uncomfortable to continue my career there.Where I worked or what I did for a living had nothing to do with you, and you had no right to bring my personal life onto a public forum board!! It was started by somebody else. I did join in the conversation on here about possible conflict of interest. But did not start it. But as you said you moved on your own accord. No need to continue this - both move on. Did you make unfounded comments and accusations which made someone uncomfortable about keeping his job? If so, when he expresses upset, you should apologize not demand he "move on."
Seedstral Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I think we should all welcome Mark Fish as the new official Blackburn Rovers spokesman as it was him who told us all after the game that the manager as been chosen but wont be announced until after the cup game. Not one official as confirmed it but he couldn't wait to announce it on twitter!! Mark Fish i salute you and what did you have to say about Henning Berg's sacking live on sky sports news.
Blue n White Rover Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 +1 Did you make unfounded comments and accusations which made someone uncomfortable about keeping his job? If so, when he expresses upset, you should apologize not demand he "move on." He moved on to a new job on his own accord, as stated by himself. No reason for him to apologise.
philipl Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I call on BRFCAG to speak out against Peter Taylor
greco Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I call on BRFCAG to speak out against Peter Taylor me too.! In short, does brfcag endorse the appointment of peter taylor, if it ends up being him.? A yes or no would suffice.
Ricky Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I asked on the other thread and was advised that their members had not been up in arms about the Taylor link as they were for the McKinlay link.
Doug Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I asked on the other thread and was advised that their members had not been up in arms about the Taylor link as they were for the McKinlay link. Hmmmm, so by far the vast majority on here agree (which is somewhat unusual) that Taylor would be a very poor appointment, and a site of different Rovers fans are presumably ok with it. Ever get the feeling that the fans are being played like pawns in a big game?
pick32 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Shebby is clearly out of his depth I wonder if brag can be useful and crawl out if his ass and stand against him.

Definitely especially when you here that they are after £8m for Martin Olsson the great football swindle.
T.J.Newton Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I cant stand Agnew/Shaw but I wouldn't let my feelings towards them get in the way of a good managerial appointment being made(Davies/Curbishley for example!), my main worry is that I don't think shebby and his propaganda party(brag/GM) would feel the same.
Amo Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 The vast majority of fans want Shebby out of the club. As BRAG are the self-appointed representation of the fans (when it suits), I wonder if they'll support that notion? Or maybe we'll hear the usual "some fans hate Shebby, some love him, what can we do?" typed from the comfort of their payoff new office?

glen9mullan Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Forget BRAG, why don't you three organise something Well put, If members would like to put across a concern or an idea, then please feel free to email andy@brfcactiongroup.co.uk he is the action group member liaison officer and he will bring things up that members have asked. The Action Group only represent its members. There is very little point asking Mark, Paul or I on here to do something as these are our personal accounts and our opinions are representative to ourselves and not the membership base of the group. The Action group acknowledges all external emails from members within 24 hours
Amo Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Forget BRAG, why don't you three organise something Well done. You missed the point entirely. BRAG set themselves up as representative of fan opinion They acted when people wanted Kean out. They acted when people objected to McKinlay. Well Shebby is fast-becoming as unpopular and unwanted as Kean was. He's turned the club into an even bigger laughing stock and has too much control over footballing affairs (which he is grossly unqualified for). So why aren't BRAG kicking up a stink? Some consistency please. And FYI, I don't believe anything can be done other than fans mass-boycotting. It's the only language these cretins will probably understand.

The office is rented as you well know I suspect, are you a member of the group? if so please email your concerns to andy@brfcactiongroup.co.uk if you are not a member then as we all know, we don't represent you.

Mike Graham Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Then why don't brag stay on your own message board. Very funny, not. Why don't you do something about our idiot owners rather than cheap pots at fellow Rovers fans please?
