No-one has contacted me or any other member of the group regarding purchasing Blackburn Rovers,

.

But why would they have reason to contact the group?

I do understand the no viable alternative line but some would see anything and nothing as better than death by the current regime

Unfortunately the media is a powerful tool and right now the supporters of Rovers do need the media on side.

Media coverage does get seen by the Rao's, good and bad. If the media paint the supporters as the one's in the wrong, then any glimmer of hope of a sensible decision being made goes out of the window.

Its interesting that you only have 15 post and post something on here about another employer and also include her mother?

I have never seen pictures of a blonde with Singh and if they exist and as you state she is an employee at the club then I would imagine they are on Blackburn Rover business.

The person in question does minute meetings Shebby is involved in including the collaberation meeting which all supporter groups are welcome to attend.

I do not know this person personally and can assure you , she is certainly not a source of leaks in my direction from rovers.

What has 15 posts got to do with a price of fish?

Just to keep you in the loop, I had forgot my password, and only recently recovered.

Exactly Tom,

So what do we do? Blindly try and push venkys to sell and risk them pulling the plug on the financial committments this club has? Who is gonna cover the losses? who is gonna pay the wages?

Sorry I edited my post to expand a bit

It's a tricky one. Is there an alternative? I don't know. Is the trust an option? I don't know. Would administration be better in the long run? Again I don't know

It is quite a wild allegation to put in a public forum board, im always dubious of posters with limited post on here as they are appearing quite regurlar and many seem to have the same tone or same objective

Us Blackbuners are simple strait-forward plain talkin folk though, all these media games aren't in our nature.

i get it(i just dont like it), Oooo when will this all end :(....

Out of curiosity Glen, do we have a guarantee that the £2m p/m or so the club is losing per month will be paid off by Venky's... or is this ultimately going to paid off in other ways when we don't get promoted at the end of the season?

Which answers your own question. The realms of the unknown are just scary and we are just all football supporters at the end of the day. For Venkys to go it would take every single supporter not a few hundred. Sadly as history proves that will never happen

They keep saying they wont sell, and unless a buyer comes out publically and shows intent of wanting the club and their plans for it, then I really don't see how trying to push for a new owner is going to help.

Yes the two Ians stated they would have a go, but not sure what their intentions are, whilst the Rovers Trust also to buy club too.

However as a person I would like to see A) They have the money B) Their plans should they by it C) Guarantee;s (As much as they can give) that the club will be in a better position and at the moment if thats less than a mid table Championship club with ambitions of reaching the Premiership then I dont personally want it.

Why would anybody want to contact you about buying the club.

Should not matter on how many posts a member has, everyone is allowed a say.

As of the tone and objective, your quite right. People know I am not the biggest lover of BRAG, and the people who run it.

As for the allegation, I'm not afraid to chuck stuff out in the open. Simply putting two and two together, as ive heard of the person in question numerous a times being bounced around my local pub.

If the media turn on the supporters it wont just be the action group it will be ALL the supporters, So no I dont agree with your opinion on this.

Regarding Shebby, do we speak with him? Yes when we have minuted meetings or there is a need to contact him.

Smoke and mirrors again glen. I said you were putting the interests of your group before that of the club. Your group don't represent ALL fans remember, so why would the media turn on all fans. And why would we care, we've been hammered for 2 years by the media, the damage has already been done, we're in the Championship, the ground is empty.. And the media have only started to become sympathetic to the fans because of how ridiculous Shebby Singh is. He's a national laughing stock, and by extension so are the club. It's also a reflection on how stupid the media are that they've only just started realising Venky's are the problem, and not the fans.

So do you still speak to him on a daily basis like you once stated you did?

All I know is what I have been told, they state they will continue funding the club personally, is that a cast iron guarantee? Its probably the best we are going to get.

I like everyone else would like that statement on the website, but it has not been forthcoming.

Already answered this question, if people want to push Venkys out and want to use us as a vehicle to do so, please show us the alternative

Do I sense some sarcasm in the air?

Please tell me if I were out of order as to saying what I said,

As stated, simply putting two and two together that is all.

One of peoples biggest complaints when we issue statements is supporters say we do not represent their opinion. It does not matter how many times we issue a press release with the word "MEMBERS" It still gets twisted into "SUPPORTERS" .

Already answered your second question

No not all all, you posted why you had posted it, and I accepted your answer

Thanks, had a feeling that was the case. You only have to look at the purchase contract to see what Venky's promises mean, unfortunately. Even if they did put a statement on the website it wouldn't really mean anything. They're liars. They've lied since the day they got here and will lie until the club is dead and they've scurried off back to let daddy's chicken empire run itself whilst Balaji starts production on Ronaldinho Vs Aliens Part 2.

It wasn't long ago supporters were marching through the streets chanting venkys out. You were one them. Most fans still want that.

Most fans obviously didn't feel strong enough to do anything about it, or they too would have marched through the streets.

Go and find us a buyer, contact Venkys and persuade them to sell and i'm sure you will have plenty of support.

What can I do which you cannot?

That wasn't his point, was it?

Was this or was this not an official BRAG statement:

The aim of the protests, as from the start, will be about the removal of Steve Kean as first-team manager, Venky's as owners of the club and now the removal of the board of directors.

So what's brought about your little 180? I wonder?

The marching through the streets achieved nothing and where never going to achieve large numbers as marching through the streets for any cause just aint the done thing around here(although they where done with the best of intentions) its what happened in the stands during and after the games that caught all the real attention.

And the lack of paying customers in the stadium that actually changed anything at all.
