Most fans obviously didn't feel strong enough to do anything about it, or they too would have marched through the streets.

More probably chanted venkys out at marches. Than marched. Either way, majority of fans still want venkys out. To suggest, insinuate different is not correct.

Not seen many on this site for example, supporting venkys. Buyer or no buyer, most fans want venkys to sell. I cannot ever see that changing.

The marching through the streets achieved nothing and where never going to achieve large numbers as marching through the streets for any cause just aint the done thing around here(although they where done with the best of intentions) its what happened in the stands during and after the games that caught all the real attention.

Which in the latest club results, costing policing and stewards 1.2m, most of which was on the clubs protests.

Please correct me if my figures are wrong.

If "most fans" who wanted (and still want) Venky's out had jumped on board in huge numbers it would have had an impact. Even in the stands it only ever 'kicked off' for want of a better phrase a couple of times (Bolton and Wigan). Even on the rare occasion the owner's were present not the slightest sign of displeasure was aimed in their direction.

That wasn't his point, was it?

Was this or was this not an official BRAG statement:

The aim of the protests, as from the start, will be about the removal of Steve Kean as first-team manager, Venky's as owners of the club and now the removal of the board of directors.

So what's brought about your little 180? I wonder?

in your little mind, you´ve already worked it out, right.? So no matter what the answers may be, you wont accept them anyway, so why even bother asking.?

If you mean, has Glen been exposed as a sellout and hypocrite for being bought off by Singh - then yes. You only have to look at the way he's dodged legitimate questions regarding his pal Shebby to realize this.

Only one of his nuthuggers, like you sir, would believe otherwise.

I'm just trying to find out how these glory hunting football fans go about switching there support every few years to who ever the latest popular successful club is(Arsenal-Chelsea and now City), Seriously how do you psychologically go about forgetting about the club you have supported in the past and start a fresh with a new club, i might give it a whirl :)

Are you really that desperate to be heard, that you need to repeat yourself and act as if you are some kind of matlock, with the oh so wise questions. I guees your fragile ego, needs the pad on its back.

dont you have a life,? i guess not since you have nothing better to do, but repeat yourself. .11000 posts for a man in his in the mid 20´s.? reeks of a loser.

I also thought this was the aim. I was at the Bolton match. Heard the chanting of kean and venkys out. Also outside the JW.

Seen encouragement to buy black and yellow scarves, lay flowers at JW statue, plane flying over ewood, yellow T- shirts. What was all that for?

From the beginning I have wanted both kean and Venkys out. That remains. I am not interested in walk in centres or chats with shebby Singh.

Only thing I disagreed with was in match protests.

People around here a generally good natured, always willing to give people the benefit of doubt, forgive honest mistakes and probably just hoped that the owners would eventually see for themselves by just watching the games that things needed changing fast(they changed nowt-we got relegated-they began to make a whole load of new mistakes-and now seemingly they are going to make a whole load more) and i think its pretty fair to say now in hindsight that because of the way the protests where presented in the media, they only strengthened the venkys resolve to take team keans corner.

They simply cant be forced to sell if there is nobody out there willing and financially able to buy.

I'm so glad you pulled that statement, that statement was made by an individual when the Action Group did not even exist. I was in fact on Holiday when that was issued and if you wish to use this statement please speak to the person who made it, who BTW is not part of the Action Group

You have still not stated what you wish us to do, You are stating the obvious regarding people's opinions on Venkys, but that does not really offer any plan of Action

BOUGHT OFF, SOLD OUT , Do you have proof of these payments? Would you like to produce this proof please?

I don't think he meant actual money has changed hands he just means you now have Shebby's ear and you don't want to upset that relationship regardless of whether you agree with him or not.

Reading this thread is every bit as depressing as listening to Shebby. The majority of fans are completely turned off by the various groups - Action Groups, Trust etc. Too many egos playing politics and far too much petty bickering which is why fans are tending to give all these groups a wide berth. There are times when I think Shebby and the various so called "fans" spokesmen deserve one another. We talk about the disagreements in the boardroom doing harm to the club and yet supporters are replicating the very same situation amongst the fanbase. This is a time to be united in support of the likes of Gary Bowyer and the players but instead we seem to preoccupied with our own little empires.

The bottom line is that Venky's own the club. Shebby is clearly their man in charge at the moment and there is nothing that anyone can do about it unless you have a spare £20 to £30 million to buy the club, always supposing the owners want to sell it. There are only two options for supporters. Either walk away from the club - and who could blame anyone for doing that - or continue supporting the players and the coaching staff on matchdays. From what I can see everything else that is going on might make individuals feel slightly better but is actually unlikely to achieve very much in the long run.

In the old days we could protest on Nuttall Street and the directors would hear you. They were local businessmen who were part of the community. Venky's are on another continent and the decisions which will dictate the future of this club are now made in India and not Ewood.

According to reports, the statement was issued by yourself and Simon Littler who has been a part of BRAG from day one. Care to refute that?

Also, I guess the 100% Rovers 0% Kean/Venky's was an endorsement of their ownership then?

It wasn't long ago supporters were marching through the streets chanting venkys out. You were one them. Most fans still want that.

But you weren't! And you always said protests would not work because Venkys would not take any notice. Remember?

I agree with the majority of this post and thats where the club is currently at.

If "most fans" who wanted (and still want) Venky's out had jumped on board in huge numbers it would have had an impact. Agreed 100% The Liverpool fixture they walked straight into the ground and not a word was said

This season they have been to around 4 or 5 fixtures and again not a word from those within the ground

We are not the only group who engages in discussion with Blackburn Rovers or indeed Shebby Singh. Whilst many other supporters also speak with the club, I dont see you having a go at them?

Shebby Singh always gets told the cold hard facts, we leave nothing out in any of those discussions. Communicating with the administration of the club is in our mission statement.

It helps no-one if we refuse the communication.

If we did , whats the next option? Protest? People protest to get their voice heard, however if the other party wants to listen to that voice it kind of makes protest redundant

If supporters just protest for the sake of protesting to get Venkys out, how many would take part? I'm 100% against protest during the games and never did last year and would not do now.

Protest before and after never got above 1200 people, whilst many are boycotting now. I would'nt boycott personally but can understand those who do.

So in short if someone has a plan, now is the time to air it

I think when you came on here defending Taylor (Shebby's friend) was all the proof anyone needed. Plus, your anti-Agnew rant and the fact that that you have not once criticised Shebby, the man who is doing more than anyone to damage Rovers repuatation at the moment. Apart from Venky's of course, who Shebby works for. How did it go again, 100% Rovers, 0% Venky's?

* If I take your word for that, did you come out and retract the statement? Seems like something you'd do.

* What other supporter groups? BRAG are clearly the most prominent one and the "closest" to the club. Which is exactly the problem.

Well if Blackburn Rovers as it is represents my identity then I might think about having a career change and open a stall on accrington market unblocking mobile phones and selling fake designer jeans.
