Nobody said that? I said 'close to the family' could be a journalist or whoever, I'd imagine he has lots of sources Maj.

Not getting at Kamy at all, but sources are wrong, and this site is full of misinformation and shouldn't be used as a stick to beat people with.

Which is why it is so dangerous that BRFCAG are conflating Venky's being too scared to sell with there being no buyers. There is the old saying that you hold your friends close and your enemies even closer. I am sure BRFCAG are wise enough to understand that this is precisely what Shebby and Mrs D are doing.

I understand what you are saying and agree, the problem is that Venkys seem to me to have the attitude that they should at least recoup the money they have spent buying the club plus the buyer would have to take over the existing debt. Was the serious offer even close to this (admittedly deranged) valuation?

Agree with your assessment of Brag contra Shebby/Mrs D though i'm sure there will be many that argue that could also apply to BRAG regarding Venkys...

When Venkys core business is hit, then they would feel the pain. The reason I said the protests were pointless at that time, was because venkys were not listenning - nothing to do with who was interested in buying the club. Venkys were determined to keep hold of the club. Now I think it is probable just down to one of them.

But things change and there is interest. It has been mentioned on here a few times about the two Ian's wanting to buy the club. Kamy mentioned there has been interest - sadly all resulting in the same, no willing seller.

The trouble at rovers at present is quite clear. With factions working behind the scenes IE Shebler and the stools we'll never get good info as they can't agree on toffee. Another aspect is that Shebler has a distinct inability to disgree one on one, cannot say no and generally talks @#/? 24/7. Obviously then we have the snake approach from the stools. It's little wonder no-one knows what to do at rovers from the Loons down. I saw a post saying we should get them advice but people have tried this from some of the biggest names in european football. They listen and then go away to discuss, but will always seek 'advice' from either Shebler or the stools. Obviously they don't want change that affects their position so the answer has and always will be 'thanks but no thanks'. It's an absolute farce of a situation and a vicous circle to boot. The loons don't know what to do, who to trust and have no experience to fall back on. It's why I'm so dissappointted we're not together as a fanbase and not pushing for the unknown IE new owners. It's just going to keep going round and round and all along rovers will suffer and slowly decline from the legacy Jack built. The trust do bugger all and even if they are they'll never do it publically and all I can say on that matter is I wouldn't want to be any of Jacks family as he's going to kick their arses black and blue once they make it upstairs.

Not offence taken Gav, I have always said it is my personal choice to put myself out there as source of info and therefore when I get it wrong then I should accept criticism, and you are right when dealing with Venky's then even people close to them often tell you stuff that proves not to be correct. What I have learned over the last 12 months is to be very selective with what I post in terms of info from Pune!

In terms of people wanting to buy the club, it is my understanding that at least 2 groups have tried to have contact with Pune RE buying the club, both have been totally ignored. Also while Venky's are are horrendous owners, whose to say that other foreign groups aren't just as bad and are only looking to make a quick buck?

doesnt matter abs, pafells wife got in an argument with a brag member months ago and ever since he hasnt stopped whining. He will no doubt state, that those matters are dealt with, but his psychotic crusade through several months prove otherwise. He uses every single day on this mb, to attack brag, completely insane and without any proof. what so ever. You are askinghim for proof, that would be like asking kean for tactics that work.

Do you think any communications sent relating to BRFC potentially go through someone else? Whether that be an indivdual who works for Venkys, a separate agency etc - we always presume they are heavily involved discussing Rovers matters but surely must have a lot of their plate with their core businesses.

I've not come on here to slag off BRAG (although personally I don't agree with what they've done in the past) and I'm not here to have a go at Glen personally because I don't know the guy. I just want to know what BRAG actually do and if they're still determined to enforce change in the boardroom. Also what's the groups stance on Shebby and his recent stupidity on the radio?
