Earlier in the thread, Glen, you mention you don't claim to represent the fans. You can claim this as much as you like but the more you and mark appear in the media, the more other fans, our fans, managers and media all think you DO.

The best thing brag can do is stfu. And stop antagonising other fans that have the common sense to get on with their lives instead of continuing to pretend the group has any purpose left. Brag didn't get kean out (he walked due to singh) and they APPEARED to have jumped into bed with Venkys.

It's got to the point where I'd trust rumours from the daily star ahead of this stuck-up self-important organisation.

Nobody listened to protests you say, so we change our approach and open dialogue with the club and we get criticised.

I ask you again if you are aware of genuine viable owners waiting in the wings, lets hear about them, if you are prely guessing there might be then stop posting it, as it only adds to the confusion.

It has been mentioned on the pages of this messageboard that Ian Battersby and Ian Currie have expressed interest in buying the club. It has been mentioned at times by both Philip and kamy that there has been interested parties wanting to buy the club. I am just going off what has been mentioned on this board, information that is available to anybody who reads it.. I have never claimed to have any inside knowledge etc.

thing is ...has Pafeel got this evidence and is willing to show it or is being very very hypocrytical.?

again not aimed at you Kamy pal.

I have never said I have. Only what has been mentioned on pages on this messageboard.

so essentially, the protests didnt work, the v´s wont sell and the only legal option left, is trying to beat some sense in to these buffoons throug dialogue...

doesnt matter abs, pafells wife got in an argument with a brag member months ago and ever since he hasnt stopped whining. He will no doubt state, that those matters are dealt with, but his psychotic crusade through several months prove otherwise. He uses every single day on this mb, to attack brag, completely insane and without any proof. what so ever. You are askinghim for proof, that would be like asking kean for tactics that work.

The issue with regards my wife was dealt with a long time ago. Niether Glen or Mark were involved, neither did any of them find the behaviour of one individual acceptable. It was dealt with and not brought up by me again. It has no bearing whatsoever on my opinion of brag. I also won't hold the group responcible for the behaviour of this one individual. As I said before it was and has been dealt with.

These days I do not need to be a critic of Brag. You only have to read this thread to know that there are a growing number of critics of brag. To be honest, not all the things brag have done have been bad - some been very good. It is not a crime or defamation to be a critic of a group.

I think I am a member of BRAG! I say think, because I seem to remember submitting my details to access the site for information.

I wonder if there are many more who did the same and are now "members".

If you filled in The FREE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM then Id say you will be a member if you simply accessed the web site, facebook group or followed on Twitter then no you wont be a member.

You only become a member by filling in a membership form.

If you have joined the website this does not make you a member. If you have filled in a membership form this makes you a member.

The automatic pop-up form which triggers when anyone goes on the BRAG website - designed to appear to deny access to any content unless completed - is entitled "BRFC Action Group FREE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION" and can only be submitted by clicking a green button which says "JOIN TODAY" ... which seems to 100% contradict what Glen and pk have stated here.

I wonder how many of the 8000 have simply wanted to read some minutes or something and have ended up being counted as members?

When you said there was no point in trying to drive the Raos out because no-one would buy us, I and others said that was untrue.

You demanded "proof". Now you've seen people demand that BRAG get militant again, you're happy to agree that there are people out there wanting to buy the club! But you have no proof, "what's been mentioned on pages on this messageboard" is suddenly good enough for you!

In short you have completely changed your position in order to attempt to discredit an organisation you have always despised and no amount of back-tracking can hide that.

I don't buy that myself, Venkys understand finance, as soon as the financial side of the business is hit they sit up and take note, that was clear towards the end of Keans tenure.

If people feel strongly enough they need to vote with their feet again, as many already are, that bottom line will take a tumble and they'll want to address that.

Not sure we're at that stage yet, but with the circus in the board room we're fast approaching that time once again.

I am pretty sure that people who don't wanna fill it in and only want to browse the website, will simply close the form down and continue to browse with no obligation to be honest.

ive stayed away from this thread for many reasons, bouts of 'willy-waving' 'he said, she said ', legal threats etc.

although im not a member of brag, i have browsed their website and simply closed the pop-up, so i would imagine anyone not wanting to sign up would of done the same?

My Question re brag is this...

My 64yr old father signed up to the membership scheme around 6 months ago via Blackburn Market, he promptly received a email welcoming him to the group.

since then, he hasn't received any other correspondence or been balloted on any issue, why is that?

Tie reason i am asking this question is my father has been on many committee's over the years inc chair, finds it odd, and was asking me about it the other day

That's quite concerning if accurate accross the board, you would think there was a ballot prior to the Mckinlay statement, unless the group recieved over 4000 emails expressing concern about the potential appointment

6 months without any correspondence? How the hell can the Comittee representatives go on air to view the 'concern of their members' when they are not communicating with them?

Incredible, but in a wy, not surprising

You can't lose emails in the post Tom - this guy had his welcome email and has heard nothing since.

The official membership packs are in the process of going out as we speak many are in receipt of them some not as yet but should be in the coming days. There is indeed a ballot paper included in the pack regarding backing of the Rovers Trust. We hold open floor meetings, have the drop in centre, website, supporter liaison officer etc that members can use to contact us at any given point.

Re Mckinlay we didn't ballot the members obviously we responded to numerous members contacting regarding the potential appointment.

Why even have it then? It's clearly designed to make people think they have to complete the form to continue - and the poster above has done just that.

It's the sort of cheap tactic you would associate with rip-off merchants and spam sites.

Not at all it pops up you either sign up as a member as it clearly states or you close it down and proceed onto the site.

ok i see what you're saying but he's not big on computers, he can only just open emails lol. i just think it is a little remiss of brag not to keep all 8000 members either updated by email or a monthly newsletter of some description

rather than relying on them to contact you.

thanks for answering my question btw

you dont buy what im saying and then claim voting with the feet is an option, but really isnt anyway, as you dont think the fans are ready for a boycott..?

That doesnt make sense gav, but i get what you are saying. You are right, the fans arent ready for a boycott, take a look at the boycott bristol thread, hardly much going on there.

RIGHT NOW, we know this, protest do not work, the mental midgets wont sell, so then what.? It´s either dialogue or nothing, unless people are ready to pursue illegal activities.

If the options are, venky´s run the show, no fan group to annoy them, advise them or whatever( and no, i´m not saying brag advises them) VS venky´s run the show, but with the 3 most idiotic posters in brfc history to advise them, annoy them or whatever, i´d take the latter. Thats how little faith i have in venky´s.

To be honest it is something that we need to look at, many members probably don't use the internet as much as others and we did have a lot of physical signups (not online), hence part of our thinking behind the drop in centre a monthly news letter would cost thousands of pounds to deliver through post, and we don't have thousands of pounds to do this every month. Please pass on our apologies to your father for the delay in hearing anything and we will look at ways of ensuring all members are better kept up to date with developments.

We are all volunteers doing this in our personal and family time, we have and will make mistakes, when we do we try and rectify this learn from it and ensure we don't make the same mistake again.
