AJW Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 From BBC gossip page Wolves manager Dean Saunders has confirmed that the club has turned down bids for top scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and defender Stephen Ward, BBC WM reports. Ebanks-Blake, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move away from Molineux this transfer window. Ebanks-Blake anyone ???

arbitro Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Rather go for Curtis Davies at CB as Birmingham need to raise funds and clear the high earners. He would be one of my top targets. Came through a rough patch at Villa and is now one of the best centre backs in the Championship.

Very useful player in this division but probably not what we need at the moment. Hope it's not us after Ward, very possibly one of the worst players I've ever seen.
USABlue Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Nick Blackman is on his way to Reading.http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11673/8452754 I was always a bit surprised we didn't retain him as a backup option. Not sure he's PL quality but he's definitely Championship quality. A lowlife Kean departure wasn't he. Never had a chance to develop with us really.
had.e.nuff Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 If true that is insane Yes it was read out twice once at just after 1 and again at 2 and was second story on there web site .
CapeTownRover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Chaddy would never make a faux pas like that, had.e.nuff-your such an amateur im a bit worried though, i havent heard from Chaddy for a while on here now. I quite enjoy his early transfer rumours, and checking the LT for us so early in the morning
Oklahoma Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Robinson for Henderson? Gk swap between Rovers and West Ham http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2270271/Paul-Robinson-set-sign-West-Ham.html
neophox Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Stephen Henderson is a really good keeper and was at Portsmouth when Appleton was manager there. Could be something in it.
gumboots Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Either that or someone's putting 2and2 together and making 5
chaddyrovers Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I would expect at least 5 players to leave including Robinson, Givet and Rosado before Thursday deadline of 11pm. Rovers have to cut their wage bill aswell. would expect Rovers to sign at least 3 or 4 tho
roversfan99 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I don't think we will be able to finalise 9+ transfers in/out in little over 48 hours. I am prepared for very little in the way of incomings.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Stephen Henderson is a really good keeper and was at Portsmouth when Appleton was manager there. Could be something in it. Might be a deal that will suit all parties - we get cover for Kean, most likely reduce our wage bill - and possibly get some form of fee for Robinson.
LeChuck Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Might be a deal that will suit all parties - we get cover for Kean, most likely reduce our wage bill - and possibly get some form of fee for Robinson. Got a feeling Henderson would be number one, he's a very good goalkeeper. It would be a shrewd move by Appleton, Henderson would surely be on nowhere near the wages of Robinson. Edit: Am I right in thinking we can still sign players on loan after Thursday? If so we might see more leave than come in. Although to be fair, the only potential outgoing that we would definitely need a replacement for us Givet.
Oklahoma Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 A newspaper here mentioned that Rosado could come to Benfica on loan.
chaddyrovers Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 A newspaper here mentioned that Rosado could come to Benfica on loan. heard this yesterday. loan with a perm move in summer

Re loans - yes, loan window re-opens Feb 8th until March 24th ( supposedly for emergencies only but doesn't work that way! )
chaddyrovers Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 what are the odds we sign no-one? wat makes u say this??? i reckon we sign a couple players but got to get rid of players we dont need. we are overloading with similar types of players when we need right winger n box to box midfielder.
dwayne cage Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 what are the odds we sign no-one? Always the big worry with Rovers.
Gavrover Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Cryer saying rosado, Robbo an maybe goodwillie to go.. With 3 in
chaddyrovers Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Cryer is the best person to trust regarding Rovers news. so if he expect 3 in then we will 99 % get 3 in. probably Gk, RW n Cm in.
Mercer Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Heard there's a central midfielder coming in from the PL - some smart money on Gutherie from Newcastle.
JAL Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Heard there's a central midfielder coming in from the PL - some smart money on Gutherie from Newcastle. What about Goodwillie for Baptiste
roversfan99 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Heard there's a central midfielder coming in from the PL - some smart money on Gutherie from Newcastle. Even though he went to Reading last summer?
Ricky Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Maybe it's some Newcastle ressie called Gutherie rather than Guthrie who went to Reading last year
