thorne from WBA??? he a CM.

Notts Forest have had a bid of 500k turned down for Chris Burke. Surely Rovers must be interest in him. just the type of winger we need. good experience and good crossing ability. bid 750k raising to 1m on number of games he plays

Rovers have been working hard to get in three players and try move out Robbo, Givet, Rosado and Goodie.

The situation is slightly complicated by Kazim, if he goes (that is not certain as it very confusing) then we will need to bring in a striker, but if Kazim stays then a defender to replace Givet, midfielder and a young winger are being worked on. If they can get them tied up then they have secondary targets that they will look at. Moving ouy the four mentioned above would free up wage budget to bring in further players.

Have been told that "good" progress on incoming and outgoing players has been made today, but I suspect all of these deals will go into deadline day before being completed.

Couple of questions Kamy.

Is the winger good enough to get into the first team as we lack a right winger?

Do you know how long Josh King will be out for?

Yes winger is good enough for championship, he is a PL club youngster. Other clubs also want him.

King coulf be out for a month, awaiting confirmation from Rovers.

Do they heck. PL defenders mark every bit as tightly as defenders from any other league - and probably more so.

Erm, we're on about closing down and being more willing to invite the opposition into space - which teams in the Premier League clearly do compared to what we've seen in the championship.

Albrighton was linked with us a few weeks ago by Alan Nixon so it could quite possibly be him. Villa would be mad to sell him, particularly as they are likely to be in this league next season. I think Albrighton is a quality player - him and King on the wings would be outstanding.

Would be a brilliant signing, but not very realistic unless it's a loan. A permanent deal would be too expensive I reckon.
